Tareq Salahi - Don't Stop Believing

Call it what you will, a departure, or escape, or perhaps Michaele Salahi just wanted to look into the future and see what is next for her and explore new frontiers, but she left her husband Tareq Salahi. In the beginning Tareq initially called police thinking his wife might have been captured or kidnapped. He thought this because he had not heard from Michaele in six hours and when she did call it was from an Oregon phone number. He called the police who called Michaele who said she was fine. Tareq still did not believe so told the world to put a look out for Michaele. Turns out that Michaele is with Neal Schon down in Tennessee. Neal of course is the long time Journey guitarist who said sure come on down. For her part, Michaele said, she just was not feeling that way about Tareq anymore and that when she met Neal and the lights went down and he started loving touching and squeezing her it was too late and he said she could have it any way she wanted it and she said thank goodness. So, even though Neal walks like a lady he is the one getting to say good morning girl to Michaele.

Meanwhile, back at the homestead, Tareq knows the party is over and that his wife took the Dixie highway to be with her new guy. They may have gone their separate ways for now, but he will always welcome her back with open arms.

Enty, I loves you.

It's me said...

Tareq reports her as kidnapped after not hearing from her for 6 hours? That speaks volumes about their relationship.

Oh...I love this post so much.

I do not give one single solitary shit about this hag, but this truly IS a superior post.

Great post.

My first thought was a publicity stunt from these two publicity whores - especially because the dude reported his wife missing after only a few hour. The only thing stopping me from feeling sure is because it involves another person (Neal).

Hahaha! Anyone who can do a legible post using Journey songs is alright with me. I don't care for the woman, but she scores a couple of points for running off with Neal Schon. I would have done the same. 30 years ago - before he had all the hotness nipped and tucked away. Who am I kidding? I'd have done it now, too, given the opportunity.

I can already see the Bravo aftershow with these 2 and when this subject is mentioned, it will be "it was a misunderstanding and was reported wrong" and that Journey actually hired Michale to do some "promo" work and there was a miscommunication between her and Tarq and the news media blew it up... blah blah blah.

I'm bowing to Enty for this post. Absolutely hysterical.

And who the heck thinks that their wife has been kidnapped because he hasn't heard from her for 6 hours? Other than some major political leader who is surrounded by body guards. But NOPE Tareq thinks his wife has been kidnapped? This man is so freakin' delusional! Entertaining as all hell, but delusional just the same.

Neal will dump her high maintenance butt in a month, max.

Hilarious...still laughing to myself reading this. Nice to know that you are never too old to be a groupie!

Well, it's a much more news-worthy story to have your wife kidnapped than to have her run off with a guitarist like some geriatric groupie. What does he see in her, anyway? Yikes!

So weird: this post sounds like a Ted blind. I meant the wording Enty is using, it's like it was written by Ted C.

I was going to say "love"- button, but lovebutton just sounds like something completely different.

*Whispers* I'm talking about the clitoris.

lol Maja!

This whole story is ridiculous. If you're going to run off with someone who will presumably give you bigger fame than you've achieved heretofore with your famewhore husband, why call him and make up a story when you're already gone?? Honey, you're gone. Just TELL HIM. He's GOING TO FIND OUT.

Isn't Neal Schon married? If so, I feel bad for his wife seeing this piece of sh*t scandal hitting the national wires.
And oh yes, GREAT post Enty!

It used to be rock stars with models was the fad. Nowadays its rock stars with overly botoxed older women (John Mellencamp and Meg Ryan)

there had better be a sweeeeeeet christmas bonus in the pr person's stocking this yr...these reality famewhores couldn't have asked for a more brilliant extension of their 15 minutes.

"Isn't Neal Schon married?"

Neal has been married so many times, he probably isn't sure what his status is at any given moment. Why do you think he has to keep touring? Royalties from old records aren't enough to cover all his alimony and child support payments. And back in the 80s when Steve Perry was still with the band, Neal had a serious drinking problem. He would drink alcohol during the concerts when he would run off-stage to change guitars. I was really impressed that he could drink so much alcohol and still be such a brilliant guitarist.

Years ago I sold some old Journey tour shirts on eBay to one of his ex-wives, who was so sweet and really beautiful. I still can't believe he dumped her.

I have [expletive deleted] HATED Journey since my roommates and friends thought they were the be-all, end-all in, like, 1981. Absolutely can't stand them.

Am I supposed to know who this Michaele Salahi is?

There was an article about Randy and Evi Quaid in Vanity Fair earlier this year, and one letter writer had this to say about them in a subsequent issue:

For the record, I am a psychologist... I suspect the Quaids suffer a folie à deux--a shared psychotic disorder. In such a disorder, the non-psychotic individual takes on the delusion of the psychotic partner. Typically the psychotic partner is dominant in the relationship and insinuates the disorder into the more passive and previously non-psychotic individual...

I'm of the opinion that the Salahis suffer from the same disorder, with Tareq being the dominant personality. Michaele is just being swept along on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.

Run, Michaele! Run fast and run far!

I think this might be one of my favorite posts as of late. Thanks for the laughs, Enty.

Maja - I just SNORTED at your post! HAHA!

No surprise that she left little squirrely Tareq. I believe she's an opportunist...although a friend of mine sent me a link that said Michaele & Neal go wayyy back. Like back to 1995, yo.

I would have held out for Steve Perry.
