I have the best Mary Louise Parker story! I was at an Elvis Costello concert ( which was awesome). He would pull people up to dance on stage in a birdcage. One woman got up there and really was dancing grossly and inappropriately. It even creeped Elvis out! Well after her dance he brought MLP out on stage. He told her to have a dance in the cage. She said " not unless they come disinfect it.". The place went nuts!
And later I saw the woman in the lobby with security cause she was threatening to kick MLP's ass.
I gotta respect the head scarf, cause I sport that look a lot. But, the pic makes me wonder - what does JLo's real hair consist of? I guess it's in a pony here, but anyone know what her actual hair (not wigs, weaves, extensions) looks like? That aspect of stardom fascinates me.
Frufra, I respect your dedication to the headscarf, but whenever I see one, I always think of Rhoda -- you know, from the Mary Tyler Moore Show? She wore them all of the time, and that just reminds me of the the dark fashion days of the 1970s. Ugh.

I rock a similar look most days, which probably looks ridiculous on me, but it's cool and convenient (hair in my face has always annoyed the crap out of me,) and, nope, do not give a single rip how it looks to anyone else.

If I could pull off a headscarf, I would do it in a heartbeat. I love the look. Unfortunately I don't have really strong facial features to really pull it off. And I have a small head.

What happened to Miley's other dog? The black husky looking one. Ever since she got a new dog I haven't seen the black one.
Love MLP...I've heard bad and good about her (love the Elvis Costello story...) but I think she represents us ladies in our mid-40s very well...and she was classy as hell when Claire Danes (who I also begrudgingly like now) stole her man. Love Weeds and love MLP in it.
Cosign others on MLP- yeah she doesn't look late 40/early 50, but she does look natural in how she "preserves herself", that's saying something. Oh and I want her outfit esp the shoes. I'm pretty sure this is a shot from the set because she is dressed as Nancy not herself. Oh and I want to steal Nancy's wardrobe esp the shoes.
