Today's Blind Items - Why She Does It
It's not often that I get depressed writing about an actress in a blind item, but with this actress I do. There are times I have really liked her and whenever I have seen her she has been amazingly nice. She handles the paps very well and is not afraid to give them a hard time or to just play along and let them shoot her. She had big things that were going to happen to her, but some bad luck and a couple of cancellations and now she is hanging on to her status by a thread. She has had some recent television chances but they didn't work out. People keep trying to make her a star, but it just has not quite clicked yet. She is never going to be someone who is not a lead. She is gorgeous and makes most of her money from being gorgeous. She is not a bad actress. Not bad at all. Academy Award? Probably not, but she is also not going to be as bad as Jessica Biel. Anyway, our actress has a had a long term boyfriend. The thing is he is just a friend who is a boy. There is no sex. There is a lot of love, but he likes guys and she knows it. She just likes him there. She has never been able to have a real relationship because of what happened to her when she was a pre-teen. She was molested not once, but twice by two different men. One was a relative and one was a friend of the family. They were pretty bad. Not just a groping. She will tell you it has happened, but has never given an interview about it. The thing is since it happened, she is scared to be alone with any guy anywhere. She loves acting because she gets to have love scenes but with lots of people around. She loves that feeling of safety. Because her boyfriend is gay, she knows she is safe, but it took a long time before she even trusted him. He is the only man she trusts. Period. No one else. Her fear is so pervasive that if she is about to get on an elevator and there is no one but a man, she won't get on. if she is on, she will get off. Her fear also shows itself in other ways. You have never seen someone more protective over her family. She is like a lioness. her siblings and her extended family, and even her friends all are protected. So, some may ask why she would date someone who is gay. This is why she does it.

My first thought was Zooey Deschanel, because Enty loves her so much.

I don't think this Rachel Bilson. Her mother is a therapist, and she has talked about how her family was very open about sex. Also, she was with Adam Brody, and I don't think anyone thinks he's gay... though I know some people that wish he were.

Or maybe it's just some guy making up fake stories to titillate people, a bit like watching a car crash and going 'ooh' and 'aah' at the blood and body parts on the road. I hope you guys are properly entertained by this story, and all the others that Enty has made up along these lines. Because entertainment is what this site is all about, right? Are we having fun yet?

i think many people-not just in hollywood are messed up. not just sexually. life is hard. people carry so much on their shoulders, things that maybe in retrospect- weren't worth all the fuss.

Hate to say this, but Matt_b has a point.
Over the the last 9 months or so, Enty's blinds have been more and more about sexual molestation and assault. So, we all get on here and start posting names of people who we think have been assaulted/molested and are rapists and pedophiles. It's not really fair to the people we name who are innocent of either being victims or being victimizers.
I said this here before and I'll say it again - I'm willing to bet $$ I don't have that every "GOOD" actor/acttess in Hwood comes by it because of their horrific pasts.
I get why she is the way she is and why she's with the guy shes with. I wish her all the best in working through her troubles.
As clarification, I understand Matt_b didn't mention the fact we drag names through the mud with very little evidence, but still...it just seems like we're having too much fun trying to guess who was molested.

@Audrey - this why I have completely stopped guessing on blinds. I'm a hypocrite because I like reading them and seeing the guesses but I feel I shouldn't participate in them because the wrong guesses would be so unfair. I stopped about the same time of the Himmmm/Natasha Gregson post.

I think Eliza could still fit this blind. Dollhouse was cancelled in 2009. Her career never actually took off and she makes money off of her looks. And she's super close with her family.

But let's say that these are all true or mostly true. I don't think that the majority of commenters here take pleasure in these stories. They're upsetting and I think that's the point. I think that Enty is doing his part to expose some of the horrible things that go on behind the scenes. Maybe it doesn't do much; but some of us start looking at these celebrities in a different light and no longer want to watch their movies, TV shows, etc.
I don't know if she fits, but Eva Mendes always gives me a weird vibe especially how in every interview she stresses how she loves her female friends and is always with them

I am dubious about the welter of CDAN BI's alleging underage sexual molestation in Hollywood, but not this one. I've seen this myself. I dated a honey who had been molested by a family member. Our lovemaking was fantastic from the start, but she wouldn't sleepover or let me sleepover for months until she felt she could really trust me.

Can't be Hough. Enty had a blind reveal that she dated whomever could do the most for her career or made the most money. She may be a beard, but not for those reasons.

While what happened to her is horrible and incomprehensible, there are many people who are able to move past it and accept real love in their lives.
I was a victim of a violent rape (I was about 19 though, so I was an adult.) It took me a long time to get over it, but I eventually did learn to trust people through therapy and a lot of prayer. Oh...and courage.

Kristen Chenoweth was the 1st to pop into my head, no idea if her boyfriend is gay though. I feel as if there's been a big effort by her team to make her a star and it just doesn't seem to stick. There was also that time that a writer bashed Sean Hayes for playing a straight man and she went above and beyond to defend him.
I feel that there's been a lot of Enty blind bashing lately and I try to see it in a different light. Hollywood is so often glamorized and very few people ever hear about the dark side. With so many people trying to become famous and become actors (with little or no talent) I'm glad that there is someone shedding some light on the darkness in Hollywood through a legal loophole. Granted this blind is about a woman's personal past, in some way it is spreading awareness and gets people talking about rape and molestation. It gives me a little more faith in humanity that although there are many people who would like to brush this topic under the rug, and thereby enabling it, there are people like Enty and us who are outraged.

Also, her mother killed her father after years of abuse, and she supported her mother. I'd hate to think of her or anyone going through so much trauma, but the blind did just say "relative" in reference to the molestation.

It's definitely not Olivia. She's had numerous boyfriends and she has only had 1 canceled show, not a "couple of cancellations". Some of this does seem like her though. However I'm pretty sure she is using her sex appeal to get roles. Also she isn't a good actress. She's barely mediocre and the blind leads us to believe the actress is better then Jessica Biel which Olivia is not. Seriously, go watch any of her stuff. It's all the same.
