This B+ list mostly movie actor spent time with his kids for the first time in months this weekend. He and the mother of his kids have not told the kids the couple has split and that daddy has been out of town on business. The two managed to be mostly civil to one another as he left his late teens early 20's girlfriend back in LA.

I agree, I think it's them. Sad when a man puts his mistress before his kids.
Also, Liev's new Showtime series takes place in LA, so I assume it is probably filmed there, while Naomi lives with the kids in NYC.
Why would anyone have kids with someone when they are not fully committed?! This makes me so angry. The kids always suffer needlessly.
Zee-"Full commitment" guarantees nothing. My parents were married for 18 years and we suffered because of it.

She's lucky to be rid of him. He had a weird childhood and probably will never be a good partner of dad.

@Zee Don't be! My dad's second wife became my first mom. I was really lucky. I just don't think kids and marriage necessarily go hand in hand. And with my family's record, I have avoided both at all costs. But and maybe because of that, I am a pretty happy camper. I just wanted to point out that kids can and will get over their parents' fuckery, married or not. We all have to answer for their mistakes, but in the end, we still get to make our own, and c'est la vie, no? It's all good in the end.
It's not a secret, his mom was a squatter...they lived in apt that they didn't rent and probably felt insecure most of the time always wondering if they'd be on the street...Rosario Dawson grew up exactly the same way...the fact that he's smart and got scholarships got him out and on his way....

He was a cheater anyway so good riddance. Just hope she's not too hurt and able to move on quickly. AND that he didn't bring any "problems" home. Kids can survive a divorce better than most people give them credit for. My mother and father divorced when we were quite young and even though all us girls never married, had children and hate men, we're pretty well adjust...oh wait. (JK!)
oh I know, the whole "I'm waiting for the kids to grow up and be out of school until I get the divorce" thing is BULLSHIT!!! Please for the love of Great Cthulhu just get the divorce or split up or whatever. Sticking with some loser "for the kids" is THE WORST IDEA EVAR.

Liev grew up with a mentally ill single mother, I have some sympathy for him. Read his wikip bio entry for a primer on his crazy early years and background. It reads like a novel.

Liev's mom was a first cousin of my friend's mom. There is quite a bit of mental illness in the family. However, I do believe Liev is a devoted father.
