This fan favorite who is a B+ list singer and a permanent B list actress dumped her baby daddy for another guy. The new guy is rich and allows the singer/actress a lifestyle which she always has wanted but has yet to manage because she pays all the bills in her house. She doesn't want her fans to know yet though. She thinks they will disapprove because of her situation and her guy is technically still married so those headlines are never good. Separated but still married.

Fan favorite? She couldn't even win America idol.
I thought she had quietly dumped him a few years ago because of his wrestling ambition.
Anything is better than a wrestler who was named Punk by New York Pollard.

It is! He got into an irreconcilable disagreement with his boss this week. His lab got a grant to do some shit we both fundamentally disagree with. He will probably resign next month, which puts his visa in jeopardy. We are scrambling to figure out what to do and I'm gutted :(

Thanks everyone! We've talked about doing the long distance thing and possibly getting married but I don't think I'm ready to get hitched yet. My cousin married in a rush due to visa issues and regretted it, so there's that. I can't move anywhere for at least another 1-2 years due to my contract. Ughhghhhhghhg I hope this works out

I don't think someone should be labeled a "permanent" B lister. A permanent A lister, yes, but when you are a B, there's always that room for something wonderful to happen.
Okay so clearly ducky is going to be pissy with me all day .. fine.. but she won an Oscar for a Broadway musical and those weren't her songs. She won for acting not writing. Her actually songs on her albums suck.. you can be pissy with me all you want but her Oscar was for acting and outside of dream girls which had previously established songs.. no one buys her pop love songs..

@sugarbread: So smahhhhht! Yes this situation very unfortunately does involve animal testing, but without saying too much, it is also involving the DOD. As one might imagine, this duo of news is going down about as smoothly as a super sized shit sandwich for us. If my boyfriend gets his own R01 grant funded (we will know in a few weeks) then he may be able to stay and not have to work with any of those fuckheads! Fingers crossed!!!

Her husband David Otunga is quite interesting. He graduated from Harvard Law, became a practising lawyer in Chicago, and then became a professional wrestler. You can't write this stuff!
I don't know how much he makes but does pro wrestling pay well? He's not living off his wife.
And as for Jennifer Hudson, I cannot listen to her sing. She screams everything. No finesse.
My half-sister is a cardiothoracic surgeon. She did really gruesome research on beagles at the Mayo Clinic while working toward her PhD. I stopped speaking to her during that period.
Prunella WWE fired him months ago. He probably made around $100,000/yr for whatever role he had. He wasn't important there.

Oh god yes Prunella. I HATE her singing. She has a good voice but needs to understand how and when to pull back and when to belt. I suspect she doesn't use proper breath control so she can sing softly. I wish she'd take a few lessons to learn how. I can't see any reputable teacher patting her on the back for have zero control on her modulation.

and ducky and i often disagree but we are level headed ladies who are educated enough to realize this place is a debate forum and not a cult website.. i enjoy my spirited debates w/ the other bloggers, however had i known calling someone a SLUT BUCKET in an off handed remark would have stirred up so much shit up in Here, i would have said her hypocritical oath that she seemed to make to shaleine DAIRY QUEEN woodley, should be called on the carpet.. just hopefully not the carpet mr hoult or her agent or whoever that was holding the phone came on..funny how 1 off handed remark got this site so stirred up..i was in a hurry to comment first!! believe it or not!! but i stand by what i said 110%
@Prunella, it depends on the contract they signed. Everyone makes a different amount based on their downside guarantee, what they get for house show appearances and PPV bonuses. That's not factoring in merchandise sales. The last PPV Otunga was at was WrestleMania (which does give the highest payoffs) but he was in a multiman Battle Royal which doesn't get you the same payoff as wrestling a regular match.
Then you have to remember that Otunga also worked on the legal side of things, so he probably got something for that. He probably made 50K a year after the whole Nexus angle, that was really the only time he had any merchandise and then he had to split it with 6 or 7 people.
Wrestlers are the lowest paid people on TV. People expect them to get paid like regular actors (and considering what they have to do, they should be paid like people on regular shows) but TV is just included in their contracts that I went through earlier.

..but the cable guy who just hooked me up, became my friend on Facebook. One of his best friend's is Otunga, and he told me that Jennifer is one of the sweetest people, and she and Otunga have a great relationship.
Is my cable guy a liar? I guess I'll find out when I get my first bill.
I didn't think Jennifer and David were married. Engaged, yet, but not down the aisle just yet.
