Well that was a s****y guess.
I had to look up intravenous B12. I assumed 'B12 shot' meant a regular old intramuscular injection and couldn't figure out how he got septic.
First thought was Paul Simon, but Prince is a great guess.

I'm not sure Paul would be someone to do B12 shots.
Prince would do, & especially while touring. He is really a little guy even in his platforms.
You can get septic from a B12 shot? Wow. Going with Prince here, there have been some rumors about his health for some time.
No you get septic from a dirty needle.
Some people don't hold B12 and have to have shots every week. Maybe something like that?
Prince is my guess - maybe he does it for his epilepsy?

Someone did a crappy job and that needle was not clean. B12 can also be a therapy for older people who have memory loss issues. May could be Paul Simon people.
Ugh, blood infection. Sounds achy and tiring and fever-ey. No bueno.

If ya told me Prince got sick from a shot in the butt, I woulda never considered a needle was the culprit.
Rather than a dirty needle, consider poor skin cleaning around the injection spot. If somebody is dripping sweat after a performance, the primadonna needs thorough cleaning around the spot with alcohol, yet may not be compliant.
That's because he didn't follow the musicians health advises injecting heroin and other drugs.
Being healty sucks.

I have Astra. In the inner crook of my arm. Intravenous. Best way to go.
Lots of people get B12 shots on a regular basis. Singer should be more careful about his needles and who is injecting him.
B12 makes you feel real good. I've taken it for long periods of time--and did my own injections. It gives you a ton of energy.

Thanks! How do you get them? Just ask your doctor? I have zero energy and would really like to have something that will pick me up, that isn't meth or cocaine lol.
I get B12 shots regularly from my doc.sometimes they make me feel better than other times. I think it's all psychological, but it's pretty cheap and I'm pretty easily fooled.
People forget Jagger is not very tall.
Isn't Prince a Jehovah Witness? Would a B12 shot be against his religion?
The other day I read an article about strange riders in rockstars contracts and Prince was down there for requiring a Dr for b-12 shots. This is almost definitely prince.
