No idea really, but the first one that comes to mind is that kid Jessie with the zany hair.
John Norris?
First time commenter, long time reader here. Clicked to say it sounds a LOT like Jesse Camp.
Kurt Loder was fired in February 2007.
I think Undercover got it
Jesse Camp immediately came to my mind as well.
Definitely Jesse Camp. So creepy
Please don't be Kurt Loder. Points against him include that he has been working as a Sirius radio host. Jessie Camp won a contest to become a 'discovered' VJ, though only if by discovered they meant 'found'. In a dumpster. That was on fire.
Kurt Loder was news, not a VJ
The Michael Align Club Kid murder was the famous case, but what VJ slept with Angel Melendez?
Was he still working for MTV though 10 years ago?
It's definitely Jesse Camp. Last year, he did an interview with Michael Alig. The same Michael Alig who killed the fellow Club Kid Angel over drugs. Jesse Camp got the drugs from Angel, which explains why he always appeared inebriated in his VJ interviews.
Here's the link to the disgusting interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8yT7qLOCNU
I seriously doubt Jesse Camp was still employed by MTV in 2007. The last time I remember seeing him on TV was in the early 2000s. Maybe this is just a case of "10 years ago was 1999" syndrome, I know I'm guilty of it sometimes.
That being said, the timeline DOES work for Kurt Loder.
I'm in on the Loder pick.
Jesse camp was strung out for sure- but creepy? Am I reading it right that our VJ is gay?
Norris fits. Pics of him with club kids in 1993 (Camp would have been a tween/teen). Norris left MTV in 2008.
100% John Norris. Google "John Norris gay" you will see results from Data Lounge and other sites noting his creep factor.
Kurt Loder might be gay. Dave Holmes is gay, but John Norris is and was always really creepy.
Agreed. Let’s take it one step further- who is the college kid with the famous dad? Someone who was 18ish ten years ago?
Guys... "omg!! John Norris (from MTV News) grabbed my dick last night ..." http://www.tennisforum.com/13-non-tennis/121641-omg-john-norris-mtv-news-grabbed-my-dick-last-night-gross.html
Honey, the gays are on fire over at Data Lounge. It's definitely Norris: https://www.datalounge.com/thread/7274112-rumor-notorious-john-norris-laid-off-from-mtv
Was the famous college kid EJ Johnson? He would have been 16 then, which seems too young.
Kurt Loder was never a VJ. He was the news director for MTV...I watched MTV obsessively from August 1982 when my family finally got cable until the late 90s.
I think "decade" here doesn't mean 2007 necessarily but that entire decade of the so called "aughts" 2000-2010.
Could be Loder. He is now 71, but it could well be PollyShore cause no one has seen him around for years.
Granted he is doing club comedy now.
random guess.
