COLDPLAY!
Coldplay would make me so happy. I can see the appeal, but I think they are SOOOOOO overrated. Just my opinion, please no one flame me for that. :-)

It's the Killers. I heard about a Brandon Flowers solo project. Apparently Dolly Parton is writing a song for it. I find it quite odd. I don't think its a country CD
Coldplay and U2 were my guesses also. Thank you amh.producer b/c I feel the EXACT same way! I don't get the huge acclaim at all!

Not U2 ... they've been around forever, Bono's always been the frontman, and we've never heard about any grumblings from the other members. Why would they now have a big problem with him after all these years?
My guess is Coldplay ... I, too, don't see the appeal.

Now that you mentioned it, The Killers kind of make sense. But I really like The Killers, and I despise Coldplay, so I'm still guessing Coldplay. So there!

Nope, not Coldplay. Gwynneth was caught in Miami with another man, while having dinner with Madge and A-Rod. Gwynnie's fooling around on him so he has no reason to quit Coldplay.
Wait, I forgot the ego part. Yes, Coldplay's Chrissie Martin. But I don't think he is quitting Coldplay, maybe being fired from it.

They announced that Coldplay is breaking up in 2009. I guess they are finishing out the tour and then calling it quits.
absolutely not U2. their new album comes out the middle of february and they're touring for the remainder of 2009.
Ten years ago, it was Smashing Pumpkins. Chris Martin is the new Billy Corgan.

I'm with you that it may be INXS. They are definitely a globally-acclaimed band, just with a fairly new frontman. It wouldn't surprise me at all if J.D. Fortune has grown too big for his britches (actually, if it is them, I'm more surprised it took this long-anyone who watched Rock Star: INXS would probably feel the same.) J.D. is talented, but SOOO unlikeable b/c of his attitude that he is better/more talented than everyone. I am glad he won & not Marty b/c Marty Casey & the Lovehammers album is fantastic (esp love "Clouds"), & he wouldn't have had that chance if he was forced to tour w/ INXS.
The Monkees. Davy Jones thinks he can do it all by himself.
Mike was always my favorite, anyway.
