with the exception of Marisa Tomei and MAggie G, everyone looked great. ok except for Drew and Renee's bad hair.

ReplyDeleteMaggie Gyllenhaal is UGLY. I don't normally advocate cosmetic procedures and/or botox, but she should have invested in some botox before she filmed The Dark Knight. She looked so old and a big step down from Katie Holmes, looks wise (before Scientology sucked the life out of her anyway).
I didn't agree with you ENT on Janurary Jones and I sure don't agree with you about Olivia Wilde. Winslet was the best last night.

ReplyDeleteI know nobody agrees with me but I thought Drew Barrymore's hair was kinda sweet. It fit the whole style with the dress and her pale skin.
Oh and I LOVE Mary Louise Parker. LOVE HER.
I liked Maggie G.!! I thought she looked original and I think it is nice to see someone who is not "perfect" on the red carpet! And I loved her dress.

I love Mary Louise. That color wouldn't work on most people, but she can pull it off.

I think I'd love Kyra's dress if it weren't for the belt. She also forgot to put on some eyebrows.
Olivia, I love the color, but the skirt makes me want to go eat a cupcake. Maybe that's why you like it so much, Enty? ;)

I love Olivia Wilde. She could dress in a potato sack and look stunning (fortunately, she picked a dress as lovely as she is).

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgewick are such a cute couple. You can almost see them being in their 80s and still being together (kind of like Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, you know?)
Since this is where her picture would've been if she'd been at the GGs, I thought I'd post here that Mariska Hargitay has a partially collapsed lung. Poor girl!

ReplyDeleteHave to admit I kinda like the floofy blouse on Marisa--it wouldn't work on most people, but somehow it does on her. As for Maggie, the color (and even the print) are good w/her complexion, but the style just kills it--I know she's trying to be fashion-forward, but it just looks bunchy & weird to me, and not flattering on her. She's a good-looking woman, but that dress just doesn't work. I'm working my way backwards to the beginning of the pictures, but so far, I haven't seen anything that tops the EPIC FAIL of Renee's outfit--WTF were you THINKING, girl?!? *sigh* She used to be pretty (especially at her Bridget Jones weight; super-skinny just doesn't work w/her face), but it just seems as if she's been going downhill fast the past few years...

See, after Laura Linney did her speech that was written for her by Corporate, I got disgusted and didn't really bother to switch back and forth between GGs and Desperate Housewives. That speech just didn't ring true for me. Besides, didn't they already win a bunch of awards from last year? Or was that the Emmys?

ReplyDeletemy little guy has had a collapsed lung...all they do is heavy breathing treatments and it reinflates. I'm sure she'll be good to go
I guess I've seen too many movies and tv shows where they have to slam some kind of tube into a person's chest to reinflate the lung. :)
