In other news, Lainey has completely jumped the shark. She just wrote that Maggie Gyllenhaal's dress was the best of the evening. I love Maggie and try to embrace her eccentric style, but jeez, that monstrosity of a dress totally overshadowed her. It wore her, not the other way around.

ReplyDeleteSylvia - IMO, Lainey thinks she's extremely knowledgeable about fashion and considers herself to be very fashion-forward. I disagree. She has a certain taste - that's all. Some of the stuff she falls all over just makes me cringe.

I swear this is the 2nd time I've defended Renee, but I don't think it's that bad. I'm not sure it's great, maybe a different color under the top layer? "Nude" wasn't the best choice, unless you're going to do it for real. :) People like to dog Renee a little too much, I feel sorry for her.

I know shakey- i actually thought they had blurred out her chest, that it was sheer and they were protecting all our eyes by blocking it out. Salma and Sallie Fields look really good. I think rumer's dress is pretty but her face looks like she is in the middle of her own soap opera set, it looks very stormy and angusty for like no reason!
