Billy Bragg & Tom Morello (as his alternate persona, The Nightwatchman) did the Tell US the Truth tour back in late '03, which was how I met the latter (ask him about his time as a RenFaire minstrel wearing purple & silver tights...); and Tim Robbins was backstage at one of Billy's shows here in Boston a few years back (I think it may have been while Mystic River was filming. Didn't get to talk to Tim, but did chat us his college-aged nephew, who seemed like a good kid. They (and Ani) were all in NYC for the big Pete Seeger b-day bash...no idea who the "guest" is, though. (Couldn't someone have asked her name? I hate it when they do that to people...)
So was their a blind about a famous chef that would fit the comments?
I love K.D. Lang! She's still one hot mess, pounds and all. She's so damn talented and seems pretty decent, which is sky rockets above most of the twits out there nowadays.

Saw the Pete Seeger documentary on American Masters. Check it out if you get the chance. He was quite the activist - and still is!
