The Brad & Jen Rumors Of The Week
A variety of tabloids have come up with a wonderful assortment of outrageous claims this week in the never ending saga of Brad & Jen. At this point I just see this as some type of game for the tabloids where they can come up with a fresh story each week which sells copies. At this point it's obvious the stories are crap, but I think they dish them out because there is a certain segment of the population of the world who loves this stuff. So, lets see what happened this week.
Look Magazine says that Angelina Jolie has been sending text messages to Jennifer Aniston from Brad Pitt's cell phone and warning Jen to stay away from her man or else. Why would Angelina do this? You are going to love this one. Now Magazine says it is because Jen has been sending gifts to Brad's office so they can stay friendly in case Brangelina is no more. Neither magazine explains why Angelina wouldn't use her own phone instead of Brad's or what the gifts were which got Angelina all riled. Hey, they need to save something for next week.
Maybe they could talk about the picture above. It is from Jen's new movie and is what she likes to call acting. It is what I like to call ten years of the same look I saw every week on Friends and which continues to torture me through years of syndicated episodes. Go ahead. Turn on a Friends episode right now and you will see the same expression at least three or four times an episode. You could play a drinking game to it. I don't know if she just went to one day of acting class or this was the only move she could remember, but it's all she has.

i may get shot down by someone, but jen jen is a decent actress in ensemble cast movies. 'friends with money' comes on thur or this weekend on lifetime/lifetime movies. i will catch that, and 'deceived' was an okay B- movie.
I have said this on this blog before, but I like a lot of actresses that seem 'unpopular' like Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Garner and Anne Hathaway.
I won't shoot ya, QS, but I don't like Anniston at all. She always plays the same character. I am tired of all the rumor stuff and am trying to just not give a damn.
I was just going to ask why people dislike her so much? She seems like an ok enough person who had a really horrible, public break up. She can't seem to do anything without people saying she is trying to compete with Jolie. If she refuses to talk about Brad, she isn't over him. If she talks about him, she is accused of not being over him. She can't really win.
That said, I admit my bias towards Jolie and Pitt. I will no longer watch any movie with them in it because I think they are obnoxious. My personal favorite was when she talked about how the kids can see her and Brad falling in love in the movie Mr. And Mrs. Smith - filmed while he was still with Jen. But that's Jolie. Every now and then, she will throw something like that out there in order to stir the pot and everyone thinks she is so perfect. She's perfect at crafting an image for herself.
QS, I agree. When she doesn't have to carry a film, she's passable.
Totally bored of this triangle crap though. Brange have 6 kids now, why on earth, even if they split up, would Brad go back to Jen? Give me strength.
omg, enty. you're treating aniston the way you do j-love. come on. if you're team angelina, it's fine...but you know aniston isn't as bad as you're painting her out to be. poor girl.
It's time for the tabloids to get over it. Brangelina has been together for years now and Jen is getting a little old for the "poor me" treatment.
I like Jen Aniston both on Friends and in movies, but I also love to make fun of her, and I love when Enty goes off on her. :)
I agree with you guys, I don't think she's that horrible. Her comedic timing is really good, actually, and she's not even that bad in dramatic roles, but it's hard to see her as anything but Rachel. I think that's a problem for anyone who has been on a TV series for any longer period of time...
Same with J.Love - I watch Ghost Whisperer every week, LOL! But she just begs to be made fun of. (And with her, I think Enty's dislike of her comes from some inside info from his pal Scott W.)
jenny, i suspect that jen jen is excessively clingy and maybe has a dash of poor self-esteem based on the few things that leaked out about her relationship with brad.
i'm so glad that i am not the only one who hates 'friends'. i don't by far believe angelina is a saint, and i find the two, ang and jen, to be tit for tat regarding likability.
It's the minivan fantasy-Brad Pitt, America's chosen hot guy, leaves the beautiful Angelina Jolie for his girl-next door 40-year-old ex-wife. I think people(mainly middle-aged women) read this because they WANT to believe it. Not because they really do believe it.

I should add that I actually like Jennifer Aniston and I, too, do not think she's a terrible actress. She was one character for 10 years, so it's hard to really break out of that character that made her so famous. I agree with Harriet Hellfire-her comedic timing is pretty darn good. I wish she'd branch out a bit more with her choice of movies but come on, she's not nearly as bad as Jessica Alba.
PS I LIKE JEN ALSO...SHE'S MADE THE BEST OF A BAD SITUATION....I REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW I WOULD HAVE HANDLED IT...SO PUBLIC

@HH & Palealebrew10, indeed, her comedic timing seems to be on the button and given the kind of "acting" Alba & Biel do, seems to be a rare gift. I'd say she was better than Cox and Kudrow in that respect.
I just really don't get the hate.
Enty, if you hate JA so much why'd you always post photos of her? considering you are running out of money for photo's it seem illogical. Plus you write whole blog posts that really are about nothing but it includes a chance to write something horrible about her so you do it. That's bascically what Perez does and you hate him too so pick a side!
I never liked Friends, but I've probably seen the entire series in late night reruns. This happens when you're too cheap to pay for cable.
I don't hate Aniston, but I don't think she's ever gonna get an Oscar. She plays the same roles for the most part, and as long as she's pulling in the big bucks doing it, I don't blame her.
I'm a middle-aged woman (sans minivan) and I don't care who gets Brad Pitt. He's not as hot as he used to be.
I dont think she is that bad, but I like AJ more. For the simple reason that I think she is hotter... I know, it makes me a horrible person, but I gotta be honest.
I like JA as well, along with Anne Hathaway, Carrie Underwood, and Jennifer Garner.
Regardless of the rumors, etc., I just find JA to be very likeable, and whether or not that is true in actuality, I don't really care.

I don't care for JA. Never considered her a good actress, very boring type. I am also dead bored with these rumors. I think the gossip sites should stop it with the triangle. It's old news.

However, I must agree with Sylvia. JA is like plain generic white bread. There's just NO FLAVOR there, ya know? She's not even vanilla. :-(

Seems like there are an awful lot of Jen-likers in these parts. Count me in. 'Friends With Money' was okay by me and I always watch it when it's on. In fact, I tend to watch most of her films, usually because they're light-hearted and aren't generally depressing.
That said, what sort of fools think Pitt isn't completely done with her? He probably forgot what she looked like the minute the divorce went through.
I agree, Jennifer Anniston seems to play Rachel Green in every single one of her movies. She doesn't vary her look or style enough to immerse herself in a new role.
As for the tabloids..remember back in the 60s when Photoplay and Modern Screen were the sources of all thing Hollywood. For years they played out the Liz Taylor/Eddie Fisher/ Debbie Reynolds story--even long after Liz and Eddie had divorced and everyone involved had moved onto other partners. I thinks some of the writers for our current gossip rags remember that too and have replaced them with Angelina/Brad and Jennifer.
I usually play shortstop for Team Aniston.
So she may not be a great actress. Few are. I like her.
I am tired of the triangle but I actually like her. I can watch her play a similar character thru movies because she can act in that role. I can not watch wooden Biel and an overacting Alba in roles.
Does anyone find Pitt hot anymore?
He's kind of Cheesy. Especially the 'stache he was sporting. It looked like a rodent died on his upper lip.

Angelina is a homewrecker-more than once-and Pitt's just vapid enough to fall for her routine.
I think Jennifer is a wonderfully funny talented actress. I also see a woman who is together and knows the value of morals and family. On the other hand, Jolie is a very untalented actress who comes from a drug ridden, brother, lesbian, blood vial, homewrecking non respectful of her father background and now she pays for foreign children and tries to convince us she is wholesome and motherly. BULLSHIT! GO AWAY AND BRAD WILL DUMP HER! YOU ROCK JENNIFER I WILL ALWAYS PAY TO SEE YOUR MOVIES YOU ARE A GENUINE FEEL GOOD ENTERTAINER WHO IS A BEAUTIFUL PERSON! MUCHO RESPECT! I am 110% with you, Enty. She still talks about him; keeping the triangle alive keeps her price high. So her 'career' remains completely fueled by an association with Brad Pitt.

I would laugh if Brad and Jen did get back together again... But I would have a "depends" moment of pure laughter if Ange dumped Brad and hooked up with Jen!!

It always amazes me the love/hate relationships people have with this menage a trois of celebrities. They seem to polarize people and I dont understand why. I honestly believe that they are all in on this together, fueling the fires to keep relevant and on the cover of tabloids. Without each other, there would would be no brand. IMHO
Ok I may get the room smack down, but I just don't like her as an actress. I also agree that she keeps a lot of this crap going. Maybe she really doesn't have closure (yet) of this relationship. As far as her film parts, I agree she appears to play the same role over and over. She comes across as very needy and whinny.
To her credit she has managed to continue to have a large fan base and she is the most visible successful cast member of Friends. So clearly many women identify with her, I just don't.
BTW- Is she having cosmetic work done beacuse something about her mouth bothers me?
