NBC Might Want To Talk To Their Sound Guys
Did you watch the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center last night? Well, if you didn't you missed the joy of Boyz II Men lip synching. You have to watch the video below. It is not that they did a horrible job lip synching, it is what happened afterwards.
The guys "sang" their song and then the host sent it to Charice who was about to start singing, when Boyz II Men started singing again. Note to NBC. There is a little button on the CD player. It makes the player open and you can insert a new disc.

LMAO I love Charice is just grooving to the tune and how she and David Foster are just going with the flow!
I guess I missed that part.
I thought the show was pretty good this year. I got teary a few times. Jessica Simpson pissed me off though with her LOUD singing and drowning out the poor sailor who had a pretty good voice (what little of him I heard).
Mariah's new song was a good opener and the Rockettes never disappoint.

we know b2m can sing...so why the playback? if nbc wouldn't spring for their musicians to come lay live, they could've sung live-to-track...i didn't watch the show...but it may have been a logistics thing w/ the particular stage they were at, maybe? makes no sense. i also bet the director that didn't cut away quickly enough was fired, along w/ the monitors guy that didn't keep an eye on the track.
The west coast version got edited. Missed all the fun!
