Christina Aguilera Arrested - Free Pancake Day To Blame?
So, you might be asking yourself who the heck goes drinking on a Monday night? I mean, Monday night is not exactly a party night and in LA, the Monday night after the Academy Awards is like a ghost town in the clubs. Now, after saying all of this, I have been drinking on Monday nights in the past and it was this time of year that I got drunk on a Monday night. Want to know why? To get my appetite really going for IHOP free pancake day on Tuesday. When the clock strikes midnight, the pancakes are free.
Anyway, Christina Aguilera and her boyfriend were driving home from a club and the boyfriend was driving crazy so the cops pulled him over. He got busted for DUI and because Christina was so intoxicated that she could not take care of herself they arrested her for public intoxication. Was she so drunk they would not let her call an assistant or a cab? That is really drunk. They also listed her as 5'2" 100 pounds. I think 14 pounds of that are breasts and another 4 pounds is lipstick.

I guess they don't weigh you when you get arrested and just write down whatever you say you weigh. The alcohol bloat on her alone is close to 100 lbs.
I also read today that her friends and associates have been urging her to check in to rehab for the past couple of months....blind item revealed????

100 lbs my ass! ( seriously, it's about 100 lbs. ) However, there is also no way in hell she weighs 100lbs. I'd say 135 at least!
I'll never understand how anyone who can afford a taxi or limo would drive while drinking. Especially if you're high-profile! It's just pure stupidity.

Interesting that she was kept in the drunk tank for public intoxication. And that they arrested her for it. I wonder if she was acting way belligerent with the cops and that's why they took her in rather than letting her call someone.
Way back in my youth I was with a friend when he was pulled over for DUI. It was about 2:30am and the cops just made me walk home even though it was pretty clear that I was drunk off my ass. I guess I'm lucky they didn't arrest me too.
Was Christina arrested or placed in a holding cell to sober up? She was not driving and would not have been arrested.

@Sylvia, she is on a "downward spiral" a la Britney Spears. But I don't think she has the power to comeback like Brit. Nor does she have anyone (other than lawyers/management. i mean family) who would spearhead a conservatorship.
Also, Jordan was NOT a KFed. so its a completely different story. I mean, she tries to come off as the "I grew up, I'm an adult!" then she gets a divorce and spirals...idk. its all so contrived.

It is unusual to be arrested for public intoxication in that situation. She either had some real a-hole cops or she was the a-hole or she was just before passing out and unable to walk at all. In that case, people do get arrested and put in the drunk tank to sober up before they are allowed to call someone to come bail them out.

I'm going to go with 2. on this one. I don't know why, since she was lying low for *years* and didn't seem to mind it, but Christina has turned into a total famewhore in the last few months. I'm guessing the failure of "Bionic" really shook her up. Before it was released I recall her bragging that "Bionic" was going to be the biggest CD of her career and how it was so creative and futuristic and all that. I think she was shocked by it's low sales, and has apparently decided, screw singing-she will just have to do anything she can to remain in the public eye.
I agree withe everyone who says Jordan needs full custody of Max.

I'm a big fan of Christina A. I must say this development really pisses me off. She's throwing away her fabulous talent. Stripped is an amazing CD. I hope she gets her shit together.

I don't think Xtina did this intentionally. Not in the middle of a divorce where child custody is involved. I think screwing up the National Anthem and the bad reviews for Burlesque pushed her over the edge.
