Matthew Knowles Stops Living Off His Daughter
Apparently Beyonce thinks she needs to take her career in a direction that does not involve paternity tests, lawsuits and allegations of cheating. No, she is not breaking up with Jay-Z. Instead Beyonce and her father have split ways professionally. I can understand that. I mean at this point how much more money does Matthew need to make off his daughter. He has made himself a fortune off his daughter, and will just have to find new things to do. How much work do you think he actually did for Beyonce? Yes, when she was starting out he probably did, but I bet he has not done much the past ten years other than collect a paycheck.

Beyonce looks quite thin and different in the face in this pic....anyone know if this is a recent or really old pic?
Quite frankly, I would have fired my dad after I found out he cheated on my mom. But that's just me.
Another parent living off of their kid. What did these grown men do before their kids were famous? They must of had a regular job or something?

isn't he like papa joe in that he 'manages' other artists? *thought i heard that somewhere* in any case, he'll most likey still get a check tho, won't he? from his involvement w/ mama knowles and their house of dereon ventures/merchandising.

@Pookie, the kid is Benny Boom's not Jay-Z's. Jay-Z has been very careful with his seed. LOL.
But there is a confidentiality agreement in place with Benny for some reason.
I suspect that mostly he just hung around, offering unwanted and incorrect advice in the studio and rehearsals. I bet Jay Z's bean counters found something wrong with his books and *motivated* him to bow out of the picture entirely.
Well, I don't know much about this family, but I know if I made it rich, with or without my dad's help, I would have made his life as easy as possible. My dad would not have asked for it, but I would have given it all to him.
Nunaurbiz, trouble with that logic is that your dad wouldn't have had Matthew Knowles' rather colorful romantic life -- *while married* to Beyonce's mother.
I think Beyonce does a very good job at hiding how little she must respect her father at this point. She's being diplomatic, but she's probably thinking good riddance....

These folks dont know this is a paid marriage? all setup by Mr. Knowles himself? Does this mean a soon to split beyonce/jay-z as well? hum....

B is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, so she can well afford to give her dad a nice pay day and send him off smiling.
