No Charges Against Lindsay For Rehab Fight
This was a pretty weak case to begin with and when the accuser took money from tabloids and probably from Lindsay Lohan's people, and went silent, it made it even more difficult. If there is a she said she said incident and no marks and everyone stays silent, what are you going to do? Well, the prosecutors in Riverside County decided they would not be moving forward against Lindsay for the Betty Ford shoving incident. Was it shoving? Maybe it was more like a scuffle. Whatever it was, it is gone now and Lindsay can move on to her various civil trials and her upcoming felony grand theft trial followed probably by a bankruptcy so she can avoid paying her legal bills.

I can SO see her filing bankruptcy to get out of those massive legal bills, and you know she has them. Ugh - I am so sick of her smirking face - she knows she's going to skate on almost everything. Where is Karma at times like this?????
Raise your hands if you're surprised. Sigh, what pisses me off is how righteous she and her family are probably feeling right now. "See, mommy?? I didn't do anything! Everyone's out to get us!"
@RQ: Everyone IS out to get them, and rightly so! It amazes me that the idea of what a joke they are has yet to penetrate the fame-addled skulls of one of these idiots. Will Lindsay ever work again? Probably. Will she ever be taken seriously again? Probably not. No one with any credibility wants to be associated with them. Give it up, already...!
You always hear people say "Lindsay was so great in Mean Girls," which came out in 2004!
Amanda Seyfried was also in that movie, yet because she has accomplished so much since then, you rarely hear anyone associate that movie with her. Just another example that had Lindsay chosen a different path, she might be vying for the same parts that Amanda is now getting.
SO TRUE, surfer. I forget she was even in that movie (and she was really good in it) because she's gone on to do so many great roles since then.

i don't think there's any doubt she assaulted that worker, and i also believe she was drunk. she was off the grounds which means only one thing to me.
but this is why nothing ever touches her---knowing her victims have less than she does, she offers them money in exchange for their silence.
as long as she does that, she is NEVER going to be punished for anything she does.
She can't pay off everyone forever with her current income and lifestyle. I hope her lawyer insists on being paid in advance along with a healthy retainer.

What the hell is Lindsay LOHAN (I'm never dropping her last name) doing for money? The well must be getting mighty shallow these days. Lawyers ain't cheap.
Wouldn't her law firm have placed a lien on any of her future earnings? She doesn't own any property, does she? I'm wondering why she's suddenly looking for a NYC rental. Is she trying to escape some California law connected with bankruptcy by establishing residency here? Wow, is she in for a shock when she finds out what the taxes are here.

@surfer - Amanda Seyfried, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, ETC. ANY of them. All have better job prospects than her at this point.
I saw a squib about her cutting a swath through a gift lounge (including electronic items) for some awards event (the Grammys maybe?) and leaving with multiple shopping bags, making a crack to papps and bystanders as she got in her car. Is she e-baying the things she gets at these events?
