Carre Otis Says She Was Raped At 17 By Linda Evangelista's Boyfriend
A few weeks ago I wrote about Carre Otis' new book and her section on Mickey Rourke. Well, that was not the last of the bombshells in the book. The latest tidbit to be released is that Carre was raped by Gerald Marie when she was just 17 and at the time Gerald was engaged to Linda Evangelista who he later married.
When Otis first arrived in Paris as a model in the 1980's she rented a room in Gerald Marie's house. She actually slept in his daughter's room. Carre and Gerald then discovered they shared a love for cocaine so the 17 year old and the guy old enough to be her father at 42 would snort coke on a regular basis.
Then one night, he came into her room and raped her. She said it was disgusting and that she tried to scream but he clamped his hand over her face. She said the entire time it was happening she wanted to vomit. Gerald Marie has been accused of rape before and even lost his job after the then 60 year old said he was about to go have sex with a bunch of 15 year old models.

Ted Casablanca(not a saint:he had a long affair with Stephanie Seymour when she was 16)),the former owner of Elite(who never believed in the rumors on Marie) finally dropped him(Marie was the boss of Elite France)after karen Mulder's story against Marie when Elite's some models told him about every things (drug-sex with under age models,prostitution,casting couch...)
Paulina Porizkova (sp) wrote a fiction book called "Model Summer" that is very good. It's a beach read, but I bet that a lot of what she writes about actually happened to her or to people she knew and met. I always wondered who were the real-life counterparts to the fictional versions.
Also, there is a book called "Model: The Ugly Side to the Glamourous World" or some such title, that covers the whole modeling industry (it's a doorstop of a book) and mentions all the stuff Pomme mentions above about Casablanca and more. The book came out in the mid 1990's, but the modeling industry (like acting) has always had a very dark side to it.
Why the fuck isn't this guy in jail. I hope he fucking rots.

Karen Mulder's life was a mess, too, similar to Carre's, with drugs and emotional breakdowns. (and bad plastic surgery). I hope this guy burns in hell.
Actually John Casablanca hooked up with Stephanie Seymour when she was 14.
I read that Michael Gross book when I was a teenager. It was HORRIFYING -- and the Stephanie Seymour part grossed me out the most. John C excused his behavior at the time by citing how her body was so "womanly" and "developed." Now that I'm well out of my teens, I can't even express how much the idea of them hooking up icks me out.
Man, she's never really had great taste in men. That's for sure.
And I was hoping someone would clear dear old Ted's name. :-) If he reads this, I'm sure he was shaking his head and gesticulating flamboyantly. Because you know he has to do EVERYthing flamboyantly.
Don't let your daughters be models, people. Please.
I am ALWAYS amazed when I hear men justify sex with underage girls. The gist of it always goes that if they're ready to have babies then they're automatically ready to have sex. And this, my friends, explains why 9 year olds have babies. Men can be extremely disgusting. I'm surprised real men don't give those sick guys a serious beating.
