I'm getting old. I remember Sinbad when he was a contestant on the Ed McMahon hosted Star Search. He lost the $100,000 grand prize to John Kassir, who voices the Crypt Keeper from Tales of the Crypt. Kassir had beaten Rosie O'Donnell earlier.
There are no adequate words to express how sick I am of Beyonce. I do not care about her or her pregnancy. I just don't.
@Layna -- I, too, am getting long in the tooth. I remember when Sinbad played a coach on A Different World. For that reason alone, he deserves more applause than Eva. What's SHE done, besides boink Penelope's brother and star in a terrible primetime soap?
Ah, A Different World. I remember that show. Marisa Tomei was one for the first season and Jada Pinkett came along later.
Memories. They're nice until they start reminding you of your impending old age.
I remember enjoying Sinbad's standup on HBO or whatever station it was. Funny and very clean - my young nephews loved him. Does he still do standup?

Sinbad did have some good stand-up shows on HBO. His reality show is just okay. I didn't know he had so many financial probs. I guess Enty's right; it's good that he was hired.

Another "A Different World" fan here..so many people came and went on that show. Denise was always the most interesting of the Cosby kids to me ;)

If you want to know how great Gil Cates was and how he pulled off all those Academy Awards shows read "The Big Show" by Steve Pond. I just read it recently. It's full of celebrity gossip so everyone here will love it. Love the story about when Madonna was rehearsing a song in 1991 and a dancer fell in the orchestra pit with a broken foot and Madonna just asked "Why the fuck are we stopping?" Ah, Madge. You were a bitch then - you're a bitch now. Never change.
Am I the only one who's still questioning Beyonce's pregnancy? I mean, gurl is curvy--should she not be showing some extra weight at least on her face at this stage?
I know some women will gain weight differently, but B's body type suggests she should have a little extra on her thighs or cheeks...
My husband and I just watched a Sinbad standup not too long ago on HBO and I believe it was pretty recent. I remember I turned to my hub and said, "He is fucking hilarious!"
I totally forgot how funny he is! LOL

Imagine what the uproar would have been if Amanda Knox had worn the standard female Halloween stripper/slut costume. I think "cat burglar" was a good low-key choice.
There was a scene a few years ago on Desperate Housewives (when I still watched it) where Eva Longoria's character was a model at a car show. I suspect this scene might come true in real life for her once that show goes off the air.
Every time I see that pic of Britney and Joe Jonas, it just looks to me like she's holding on for dear life.

Beyonce is one of those background celebs for me. I don't really like her music, or what I know of her character, so I ignore most stories about her. I'm sure her kid will be cute and all appropriately whored out, but meh.

And [I should probably be embarrassed to admit that I know that] Jasmine Guy has been doing a guest spot on The Vampire Diaries...she's playing the dead GRANDMOTHER of one of the characters.

Can't believe Britney is still working. She should be laying on a beach and playing in the ocean - for the rest of her life. Surely she has enough money to do that and send both her kids to college.
I hope Joe Jonas feels comfortable coming out someday. Poor guy shouldn't feel like he has to prove something by letting Britney dry hump his head.
