It's A Pair Of Shoes

Apparently the new Air Jordan's are very popular. So much so that police had to use pepper spray in Seattle to disperse would be shoppers. Oh, and in Atlanta four customers were arrested. The only injury so far has been a boy who had his arm broken when he was trampled in Michigan by customers trying to buy the shoe. Seriously? It is a pair of shoes people. I know you want them for Christmas, but violence? It is the holiday season and no shoe is worth trampling or violence. There have been countless reports all across the country of fights breaking out and death threats and over what, a shoe that you wear to make you seem cool?

I wouldn't put it past any of the Real Housewives if it was a pair of diamond encrusted Louboutins.

I buy shoes at Payless during BOGO. That's as much thought as I put into shoes except they must be comfy!

Someone was taken away from Highland Mall in Austin yesterday over those damn shoes. I don't get it.

Same here in Dallas. (BTW this was my FB status today) The news said they were $180. Obscene price and obscene scene. I wonder what we are teaching our children...

same thing here in norcal -- a shooting (up in the air with no one hurt) in richmond -- 2,000 to 3,000 people had been waiting since 4am...(ironically they had just run out of adult sizes) and a store shutdown in San Leandro...why are people doing this? Really sad.

I'm with @nunaurbiz. I pride myself on bargins. No way I would pay big money for sneakers.

I'd be ashamed of and would apologize for the entire city Seattle, but the area it happened in doesn't surprise me. Get a fucking grip, people!

There was a stampede in Indianapolis. The news team filmed everyone running into the mall and 2 little kids fell down and were nearly trampled. The news talked about the kids but didn't care enough to actually put down their camera and help them!! Nuts.
