Today's Blind Items - The Virgin Finder
From the headline you would probably think this is all about Wilmer Valderrama. Surprisingly, you would be wrong. Nope. This one is way more insidious. Wilmer just is a dog, but this guy, the subject of the blind is so much worse. Lets call our guy a celebrity. Probably a B+ lister on the celebrity scale with A list name recognition. You see him all the time. Constantly. He has been in the public eye for awhile now, but back in the day when he was first getting started it was a whole lot easier for him to stay undercover. He used to and still does have women throwing themselves at him. His first experience with groupies came when he was still thinking of being an actor. He had sex with some teen who said she was a virgin and from then on our celebrity was hooked.
From that point on he would only date women who were virgins. If you were not, then he was not interested in you. One time he went on a date with some 17 year old who told him that she was. He took her to Reno. She confessed she was not a virgin and he left her on the side of the road next to a bar in Reno where they had been and she had to make her own way back to LA. As the years have gone by and his wallet bigger, our celebrity has found it more difficult to find virgins who won't spill so he has a connection with an organization in Latin America and he pays for virgins. He pays well. He pays for teens who are 16. That is his favorite. One time when he attempted to go straight and have a regular relationship, his significant other found out about his kink and left the second she found out. The funny thing is the celebrity does fund raisers for charities for human rights organizations and here he is, one of the people he is vowing to stop. He is one person on the outside and this sick, perverted guy at home.

The 'You see him all the time' makes me think he is in a commercial or something; repeated over and over again on tv and the internet; therefore seeing him all the time..
Or also I think of someone from a realityshow, people you see over and over again (and that gets annoying). Maybe its someone from the Hills? That could also refer to the 'thinking of being an actor' part, the stars had to pretend everything was real and 'real' reality, not some scripted stuff. After that most went into actually reality-stuff, where they didn't have to be an actor anymore. Also the 'person on the outside/sicko at home' could refer to that; when the camera's roll they are normal nice people, but when they turn off its hell on earth.
(I have watched too many Saw movies, I look for clues in EVERYTHING) haha
people it is NOT Ashton or Russell! For the simple fact that Enty says "when he WAS still thinking of being an actor." Ashton and Russell's contribution to the entertainment world is acting! Done and done.
Adam Levine has been linked to multiple models, and though he cheats his ass off, this doesn't sound at all like him either. Jared Leto could be a good guess if it wasn't for the fact that I'm pretty sure nobody outside of those of us who are into celebrity sites and lifestyle know who he is.

Simon Cowell does not fit. He's unmarried. Us is known for his long term live in girlfriends. He likes women that are pretty age appropriate versus most wealthy men, and maintains relationships with most of them.
What grosses me out aside from the obvious is the thought of anyone preferring to have their only sexual experiences relegated to taking someone's virginity, which is clearly only about the gratification of one person, particularly because there's no loving bond formed prior.
The first sexual experience as a woman is the worst. It's awkward, uncomfortable, and painful. I can't fathom that being anyone's ongoing fetish. Sick. Aside from the narcissism of only attending their own needs, I can't help but wonder if he is threatened by sexually competent and aggressive women that know what they like, and perhaps he can't provide.
Glad to hear that Jason Mraz is as awesome as I hoped he'd be! Guy puts on a hell of a show - he is so talented. I'd love to see him perform again sometime. :)
I don't think there are too many virgins smoking pot in the grotto of the Playboy mansion, so I doubt it's Bill Maher. But going to Reno, it certainly could be a comedian or a singer.
Bill Maher has been all over the news, what with his using four-letter words to describe conservative women. His public persona is a man who likes experienced women. Maybe his private persona likes virgins. I don't know. I hope it's Maher because I think he's a pig and a hypocrite on so many levels. I don't know if he does any charity work, though.

Started as comedian and moved into movies. Has groupies. A-list name recognition? Never married and no big relationships. Has a public image as a nice guy, I suppose.
I don't know about charity work but I'm sure he has done some through the years.
I'm going with John Cusack. I've never heard anything regarding being in a relationship with anyone...but mostly because he's in the random photos today.

I thought of Tom Bergeron, oddly enough. He fits some of the clues, but he's married and has two daughters, so I really doubt it's him.
Russell Brand is not LA based, has no residence here, and is only here when he has specific business to do.
Bill Maher doesn't do charity work and I cannot imagine him with any woman who doesn't know 30 different tricks and isn't willing to learn 50 more on the spot.
Adam Levine doesn't fit any of the clues. He's a womanizer, and a douchebag, but that's his public image so what would really surprise us about him?
This is one of the toughest blinds ever. Ashton is so close to fitting, because he definitely has the money to have young girls sent to him, but he's had relationships and even his trysts have been women with experience.

Has been in the public eye since 1983, and has done more than 50 movies. See him all the time. Constantly I think this is to direct you to look at random photos today where he is standing in front of virgin sign. That is pretty obvious considering the topic of the blind.
He comes from acting family so possible groupies before fame, he also went to University for a year before dropping out - this could be the thinking about acting part.
He did a lot of teen movies, he was still a teen himself when he started out, this would have made it easier to stay undercover.
I can't think of anyone who has dated him long term and his parents and him are both long time activists.
The fact that Piven is a close friend; who has been in a lot of films with him, only makes me more certain.

THANKS!! I am a huge fan of Mraz. I think he's crazy talented and he comes off as super sweet and smart in his iterviews. So im relieved that it's not him :)
The blind states:
1) The person was thinking at one time of becoming an actor as a profession. This says nothing about whether or not the person ever did any acting. It does imply the person is not known primarily as an actor.
2) It doesn't say if he is straight or gay, but does say he has dated women.
3) It doesn't say he tried to have a 'straight' relationship (which could be read as either non-gay, or non sleazy) only once. It merely describes what happened during one attempt at a 'straight' relationship when the other person found out about his 'kink'.
4) 'You see him all the time' suggests to me he is on TV frequently as well as often appearing in other venues.
It's not that he's a pervert for dating 16 year olds, as some commenters point out. It's that he's a mean, callous bastard who uses vulnerable human beings to satisfy his whims. Also, he is involved in the sleazy and often violent business of human trafficking.
His outward persona doesn't have to be as an angel--it can be as someone who is concerned about civil liberties, human rights, and is against hypocrites, political and otherwise.
It seems to me that one person mentioned above by a few commenters fits every clue. We see him all the time (hosting a regular TV show, stand up comedy, political commenter, writing books, widespread online presence, etc.) And he is widely known to like 'em really young. Plus he is mean.
And Cathy, although my guess is not AL, I do not think Kassandra was being confrontational or defensive. I admire the way she handled your attack on her with such graciousness. I could learn from her!
What's up with all the awful guesses for the blinds lately? I can't believe how many people are guessing actors, when the blind clearly says he isn't currently an actor, even though he may have started out that way. I've made some dumb guesses in my time, but over the last couple of weeks it seems like the majority of people are not reading carefully at all.
I agree wih mooshki not an actor, more likely, a singer tv host, news anchorman...

Kutcher -- married + long-term girl-friends; wife dumped him b/c he cheated on her repeatedly with non-virgins; primarily an actor. Could anything more be wrong with this guess?
Levine -- Squeaky clean image? Only if Enty is really, really stretching things. Also, Levine was with his high school sweet-heart for ages. He's also pretty fucking young/hot to have to pay for 16 year olds.
Cusack -- ONLY an actor. WTF.
Seacrest -- Probably the best fit for the everywhere all the time/celebrity clues, BUT... NEVER an actor (like, not a single credit) AND currently in a relatively long-term relationship. Also, to repeat, pretty fucking young/hot to be paying for girls (especially given that he likes boys too).
We're looking for someone old enough that 16 year olds who weren't paid would find him skeezy. Where "back in the day" would be appropriate. I think someone in their 40s/50s. NOT primarily an actor, but someone with at least one acting credit. Could be a musician... or a director or an athlete?
In re: to Jared Leto, his band 30 Seconds to Mars is pretty well known, so B+ isn't really a stretch. "The Kill" is still played on the radio all the time and the last album sold well over 1 million copies. I was a big fan of the band, but stopped going to concerts because I, at 25, was the oldest person there. Go to a 30STM concert; Jared Leto attracts girls under 16 still and the girls he invites on stage with him look like they are in the 13-17 age range, no doubt.

Oh, god. This has to be Kutcher. "You see him all the time. Constantly." And what better way to try to "go straight" than by turning 180 degrees and marrying an older woman? And I agree that it completely explains Demi going off the deep end. As a wife myself, I can't imagine how far off the deep end I would go if I found out my husband was paying for virgins from impoverished countries.

Ted Nugent? He has been married twice and has something like eight children. His first wife died in a car accident; she didn't leave him. And I think he may still be married to his second wife. His activism focuses on anti-drug, anti-alcohol and support of the constitutional right to bear arms.
And as for people rudely insisting that the blind "clearly states" this scumbag isn't an actor...no it does not say that. It only refers to a time period when this POS was first thinking about becoming an actor. To the posters who demanded others here learn to read, I suggest you take your own advice. And stop being so critical of your fellow posters while you're at it.
