Gladys Knight Eliminated On Dancing With The Stars
You know what? I enjoyed seeing Gladys Knight every week. I think she is classy and wonderful and I wish it would not have taken something like DWTS to get her back in the spotlight where she belongs. That is one thing I like about DWTS is they tend to find a couple of people to highlight that people may have forgotten about or don't know about and Gladys Knight is class. The great news for Gladys is that she lost 60 pounds doing the show. That is amazing. That is seriously losing a Bieber. Just like that. Gone.

she looked fabulous this week! i heard a little taped comment she made before yesterday's show, and she sounds as sassy as a 20-something. it seems like they are all having a great time (except melissa ans her partner). is that possible?
she is awesome and talented and beautiful. I hope her career has a resurgence and she can really sing.

Nell Carter did a network comedy special once and during the (staged) pre-production meeting, producers asked who she wanted as a musical guest. She said, "The Pips." "Okay, Gladys Knight and the Pips," and she said, "I didn't say anything about Gladys Knight," and, sure enough, just the Pips showed up to do Midnight Train to Georgia sans Gladys Knight. Really funny!

Gladys didn't always hit all the choreographed steps, but the woman has got some moves! She was just a joy to watch.
califblondy, oh my, my, my. maks talks to her like she is a naughty dog. they showed an ugly clip this week and i thought he sounded like a spoiled brat. enty has made comments that he would like to go home because he doesn't like her (hard to deal with?), and he makes that VERY obvious.
That video is glorious. Remember when singers could really sing, and they sang LIVE? Her voice is just amazing in this performance.
I loved the Pips when I was little. I would dance along with them whenever they were on any of the interminable variety shows of the 70's.
I wish I could lose a Bieber. Permanently.
