Blind Item #1

This former athlete and now a strange celebrity wanted to make sure his new celebrity television chef pal got the most out of the strippers at a club. The athlete stood over the strippers while they were giving lap dances to the chef and made sure they were doing a good job and even placed them in what he thought were better positions. He was perfectly serious about all of this too.

Johnny Weir is all over food network right now. Did he take Guy Fieri to a strip club?

Super easy - Dennis Rodman. I saw him in a strip club years ago in Vegas carrying a stripper.

Rodman and Kim Jon Un. The Korean maybe not a chef, but he surely eats enough.

Gotta be Lamar Odom

Hines Ward and Guy Fieri. Hines was on "Celebrity Cook-Off" with Guy (though not on Guy's team and yes, I hate myself for knowing this).

Also, if this indeed is Guy, I would like to state my vociferous objection to him being called a "chef." Appropriate descriptors include: "Douche," "tool," "waste of a space," "monster that Food Network created," "delivery system of fine Sysco foods," and "culinary human centipede."

Thanks Dewie for "culinary human centipede." I didn't really want to eat lunch today anyway. lol

Ryan Lochte.

Yes. Thank you. Visual is priceless.

@Dewie. Totally agree!! I would add "luckiest guy in the world" because I have no idea why he's still famous.

Dewie: I so agree. I'm not a violent person but I'd like to slap the glasses off the back of his head every time he says "flavor town ".

Mirame said...

I thought of Ryan Lochte, it doesn't say he had to be a chef also, just that his friend was.

Dewie, you made my day.

@ Dewie - Are you referring to Guy "Let-me-wear-my-big-dirty-gold-rings-whilst-touching-food" Ferry, I mean Fieri?

He can be kind of entertaining on DDD but otherwise he's kind of a hack.

I've seen Rodman in a strip club on several occassions, but I have yet to see him spend any money on a girl. He basically just sits around and chats with the ladies, using his celebrity instead of his money for payment. The money makers don't even bother with him and he also feels like he doesn't have to pay for a single drink. I remember him ordering a shot of jäger, took it and walked away without paying. When asked to pay, the stripper that was with him ended up paying. Maybe my encounters with him were the exception to the rule, but my impression was based on multiple run-ins.

With that said, the former athlete and strange celebrity description fits Rodman to a tee. So maybe he was finally willing to spend some money on a friend in need :)

Wow!! I grew up with Guy and while his shows are not my style, I will tell you there aren't many people who have worked as hard to get where they are as he has. He is also very generous in giving back to our community and helping people from our community. I give him absolute credit for that.

Was he having the ladies dance cheek to cheek?

while i think guy's food is gross, i met him on a ferry to a giants game right before he won the food network show. he was so nice and genuine and really charismatic. he invited us to the final show at this restaurant. we didn't go but my brother in law did with his wife and they said it was really fun and that guy was really nice even tho he just met.
his shtick is lame to me. but his personality is the same as that day on the boat with maybe a little more tv gotcha.

Rodman or Lochte - they're both egotistical douches.

BTW, I've heard Fieri's gay...

Apart from the strange but I'd say beckham and Gordon Ramsay but I don't see strange in beckham

I agree with el, he seems like a nice guy. Hell yeah his style is douchetastic but I don't judge books by their covers
