Paris Jackson Is Going To Be In Treatment For At Least Another Month

Paris Jackson has already been in the hospital for almost a month. When she hits that month mark, she will leave her current hospital and be moved to a treatment facility outside the state, probably in Utah or Minnesota and stay there for at least another month. This is a very sick girl and I think it is great that she is getting this much treatment. What makes me sad is there probably a lot of Paris Jackson's out there who don't come from a family with a lot of money so have to abandon any kind of treatment once their insurance runs out or don't have insurance that will cover this kind of treatment and never get the help that could make the rest of their lives better. Paris will have a chance after all of this to be better. What worries me is that she is at some point going to be, along with her two brothers the richest people in the Jackson family not named Janet. That means that for her entire life she is going to have a huge number of people wanting things from her and also be under intense media scrutiny for the rest of her life, should she stay in Los Angeles. It might not be a bad idea for her to move far far away and remove herself from the family and the media and live her life in a different way.

Good for her. A month away from that pack of lunatics is a godsend.

This is EXACTLY what Michael Jackson tried their whole lives to avoid It must be awful having your teen angst and depression splattered all over the news and gossip sites. God, I feel for her, but she seems pretty smart so I think she will be ok. So long as she gets away from the first family of disfunction.

Rebecca Welles, the daughter of Orson Welles and Rita Hayworth, got out of Hollywood as soon as she could and lived the rest of her life in small towns in Washington State. So it can be done.

I agree, she needs to go far away with her money, live a life of purpose and fulfillment and make her money do good things for her and the world. Get away from L.A., hangers-on and messed up family.

If she seriously gets convinced to leave the insanity behind her, she also ought to consider changing her name.

I like this kid for some reason and am actually happy to hear she is getting help. But I am not entirely sure she WANTS to leave LA. She has said she wants to be an actress and a singer, so I don't see her leaving to go live on a ranch is Idaho.

Paris, please please don't try to be in show business. Go live in a small town and run an animal shelter or live in your namesake city Paris (;-)) or even pursue life as a writer or artist in NYC, anything but Hollywood.

@Basil, don't all 14-year-old girls want to be actresses and singers? Or many do, at least.

The tricky thing is finding a place with structure for her outside of Hollywood. It's not like she's got any relatives left in Gary, Indiana to move home to.

Boarding school?

My heart breaks for his kids. This poor girl.

I hope she likes the treatment. It can be really intense, especially for a confused sheltered girl. I am hoping she gets through this and ditched the parasites.

The difference is, this girl craves the spotlight. Since the funeral, she has been front and center - and I believe it is by choice. She (unlike her brothers) wants to be a celebrity, come hell or high water. Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, etc. That's her goal. Maybe the rehab will show her that a normal life is a better choice.

Can Britney's Dad get conservatorship?

I don't believe she wants to be a celebrity. She's a teenage girl. I work with adolescents who self harm, use substances and have severe developmental or mental health issues to contend with. All teenage girls tweet, FB and have TUMBLR. She's just had to grow up very quickly, dysfunctional family and the world watching. She's normal, her circumstances are not. Poor doll. I hope she gets genuine love and support once she leaves the clinic.

Unfortunately -Crazy breeds crazy. Good luck to her and I hope she breaks the cycle.

She wants the attention though
she doesnt want to fade into obscurity
Lets just hope shes getting treatment to be a strong individual. Work on her self esteem. means she missed a whole lot of school
damn shame

I am glad they are keeping her long enough to make sure she's ok.

I read that Debbie Rowe was going to take her away for a few months somewhere to keep her out of the press and to get her out of the stressful home environment.

Unfortunately she isn't old enough yet to go off on her own if she wanted to--and I'm not at all sure she doesn't want to be in some kind of show business. She was cast in some movie--and I read that the producers are keeping her part open as long as they can for her if she wants it.

She has several years before she would be old enough to live on her own and I don't know if she'd leave her brothers even if she could.

I wish her the best--I've always thought she seemed to have a good heart.

Can we introduce her to Frances Bean? She seems to have figured out how to live independently of crazy family and media.

Even though Michael has been demonized he adored his three children Paris, Prince I, Prince II aka Blanket and I know it would break his heart to know what is happening to her right now.
I have read that Paris had banned both her grandmother and Debbie Rowe from visiting her and was only allowing certain family. It sounds as if she is having a hard time dealing with all the fighting going on around her.
I hope that she can find peace and healing for whatever it is that is haunting her.

I feel for her, I think its a good sign that she's freaking out already, rather than keeping it all in and going slowly (or quickly) insane like the rest of them. Something in her knows that the milk ain't clean.

I remember after Michael died and the questions about who the bio parents of these children are. Many commenters said it didnt matter and that because they had the love of their obviously non bio dad that is all they would need. In life.

I thought it was ridiculous. People want to KNOW where they come from and who they are related to. It is a human need and a human right to know your biology and MJ might have claimed he loved hiis children but he clearly put his own "needs" above theirs otherwise he would never have created such a mess for them to have to deal with.

OF COURSE Paris wants to know her mother as any young girl would. Regardless of whether her mom is a souless and/or naive loser who used/got used by MJ for the money. Maybe she cares now. . Who lnows? Whatever her reasoning she has helped create a tragedy for two kiddos. It obviously mattered to Paris who her mom is, that she resembles her, and that she was a full sibling to prince.

It is also clear that mrs Jackson could care less about those children, who are no relation to her, when it come to their well being vs money grabs by her and her trashy children. No one who cared for them would put them through this appalling court case where the kids are sure to be hurt by the revelations. Collateral damage. Oh well. At least Joe, Janet, Randy, Debbie Jermain, Jermagesty and the like might get a little more money off their dead family member...

These people are scum and it is those kids who will be paying for the rest of their life.

After Michael died, everybody said what a good father he was and how he tried to shield these kids from the craziness of Hollywood and his money-grubbing family. What nobody seemed to mention was the fact that these kids were POSSESSIONS, not children to him. If he genuinely wanted kids of his own, he wouldn't have created this sperm-roulette of various fathers so nobody (including the kids themselves) have any idea who their real fathers are. He wouldn't have purchased female "incubators" to have these kids, and most importantly, he wouldn't have conducted his life in such a way that he would die of a drug overdose when they were small children. We are only just now hearing about Paris's problems, but I'm guessing this is only the tip of the iceberg. God only knows what Prince has really been up to or what "Blanket" or "Knapsack" or whatever has in store for himself,
