I like Jennifer Esposito, but I do not like that outfit.

To which Baldwin does Haley belong? Is that Hilarious with her?

Emma Watson looks great.

I'm sick of Heidi, but homegirl does look flawless.

"It doesn't matter if you feel sexy if you don't look sexy" ...Amanda Bynes. She really hit that on the nose.

Was gonna guess Ashley for the one that gave up her seat, but didn't think she was that nice, lol. Maybe it was her since she's in the daily pics?

Does anyone else think that Alyson just cloned her older daughter to get the younger one?

I could sit across from Ashley green at a dinner party and still not recognize her.

Just felt I needed to share what Angelina Jolie was doing there -- she SHOULD feel proud of herself.

"After Jolie spoke—along with U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Ban's special envoy on sexual violence in conflict, Zainab Bangura—the 15-member Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution recognizing that rape can exacerbate conflicts and impeded the restoration of peace and security. The resolution 'encourages members states to include the full range of crimes of sexual violence in national penal legislation to enable prosecution for such acts.'"

Dang it @Halfmad - that makes it hard for me to *eyeroll* at AJ anymore. That's really wonderful on her behalf!

Why do people feel compelled to smack down Angelina Jolie for doing good in the world?

CraftyGirl said...

@Cee Kay - that didn't come out the way I intended. :-S

In no way did I mean that to sound like a smack down on her good works. I think it's truly wonderful what she is doing, and a much better person than I for becoming involved in things I simply don't think about in my everyday world.

I am just not a fan of her perceived persona.

Big AJ fan. She does more serious charitable work than any celeb I can think of. Not that there is anything wrong with fundraising, etc, but Jolie gets out and does real work in tough places.

Alyson Hannigan's little girl is adorable!

S. joy, ITA Haily Baldwin totally has the Baldwin face.

Go Angie! I like that she doesn't seem to give a rat's ass about what people say about her. Homewrecker? Pffft, whatever, I have a UN meeting to get to. St. Angie? She didn't hear, she left an hour ago for a children's cancer foundation meeting.

Emma Watson looks pissed because the Bling Ring was the worst shit I have ever seen in my entire life. It was actually painful to sit through that movie, minus the whole Pretty Wild thing which was pretty spot on.

MsWool said...

I don't get the Angelina hate at all.... is it REALLY all because of the "homewrecker" thing? (which is way overblown).

I think she's awesome. I was a wild child, too. Did lots of things that I look back on and cringe a bit. But now I'm an upstanding citizen and I don't think I should be defined by my past any more than Angelina should be.

I'm no Angie fan, but come on. "looking all happy with herself?" Seriously? Do you see the nameplate in front of her? She could be spending her days at the spa and paying paps to "catch" her coming out of yoga class, but no. She is working on behalf of the world's refugees. On second thought, she has every right to be looking all happy with herself! Good for her.

The work Angelina does should be the rule and not the exception IMO. I long for the day when those with the financial means and visibility do charity and goodwill work so frequently that when ONE person does it, it doesn't make the news.

Yeah, I think these ridiculously wealthy people should do a little bit more than rest on their laurels or charter their private planes to one of their 6 homes every once in awhile. Maybe do some good for those not as lucky as they are. But I won't hold my breath.*

I'm super bored with the Heidi Klum pics every day.

Cosign with @urban chaos, this chick makes no impression on me.

*Francesca Eastwood, I'm lookin at your Birkin bag burning self. Maybe if you would've used the money for the bag to feed some people or donate to a children's cancer research center, that whole little stunt would've made people care who you are instead of who spawned your spoiled brat self.

Thank you for posting this. She is amazing a true humanitarian. This bitter enty needs to stop seriously.

The reason people get irritated with AJ is because she always seems to have a film crew recording every "good deed". I do believe that she cares and I think a lot of the work that she does is good. I'll even go as far as to say that maybe having a camera there is her way to try to raise awareness. However, I personally think a big part of everything she does seems calculated and very "showy". To assume that others don't do or give as much just because they don't have a press conference seems very silly to me.

I've always had more respect for those that give in silence and do good works without somehow always managing to get adulation for themselves. I mean "St Angie"?! Give me a break. There are nameless people who work tirelessly in refugee camps, in organizations to tackle child trafficking, hunger relief, and the list goes on. Why is what she does SO much more "impressive"?
