I may think you are a dick but I don't think you are a bad guy, which is why I am concerned.
This recent breakdown wasn't like the rest, and tonight proves that it isn't like the rest. Something is wrong and we can all see it. Call me names, insult me, try and humiliate me, but it wont change that you are hurting and taking it out on people here. We aren't your enemies. Most of the people here have stuck by you when any sane person would have abandoned you in a heartbeat. But yesterday we all watched a person break and we're watching it again today. Use this site as a bitch box or use it for the relationships and friendships you have built, at least one person here cares about you or else you wouldn't be throwing temper tantrums every other week for the past few years.

The vet said we could have another week with Lucy and she'd be fine until then. She's not in pain and she's napping with the Opster and her purr still works for now..But we have a little time to say good bye.. She's eating well so that is good. And of course getting lots of love (and SQ water, which she HATES!).
Remember to love one another, animal or human. Life is so short and when you look back you want fond memories of those you loved but more important..Having the capacity to love them. That's the real gift - feeling that love without any expectations.

According to TMZ, her parents tricked Amanda into going to the hospital. She thought the limo driver picking her up was driving her to a hotel; but the parents paid the driver to drive her to the hospital when they met her with their lawyer and put her on a psych hold. Sneaky but smart! I guess they will have to put her in a permanent conservatorship like Britney Spears. At least she didn't do to much damage to herself when she was free. You have to feel bad for her parents. The are pretty old and the work of having to monitor an adult 28 year-old is going to be so much more stress than they can handle.
So I really did not want to get involved in this, but since others have expressed concerns I thought I would as well. I'm just going to post this single message and leave until tomorrow - maybe until Monday.
I like you Derek. I do, and I was one of the people asking you to reconsider staying after you announced you were leaving a week ago. But I just had to stick my nose in here to say that JSierra IS missed when she's not here. By me and by others. She's been awesome to everyone here as far as I can remember in the 3 1/2 years I've been here. Jesus, has it been 3 1/2 years? JSierra's comments are among the few that actually make me laugh out loud. It's this exact type of fighting and ugliness that is driving longtime commenters away. This is CDaN.
