Mariah wasn't at the awards from what I can tell as a performer, presenter anything- she isn't listed? Also I read B+ Singer as female, A lister male. Prince was there but he's more singer - musician I think.This one is hard!

Has anyone considered Britney Spears. She was literally between marriages (her Vegas quickie and K Fed) in 2004 when the VMAs were in Miami when Lenny Kravitz performed with Alicia Keys and Stevie Wonder.

Okay. Mariah Carey did performed "Shake it Off/We Belong Together" in 2005. BUT Lenny was there to perform AND present in 2004. Britney was nominated for Toxic, but I cannot remember if she was there as well. I do know that Queen Latifah was there.
I think Britney WAS there in 2004 but she was with Kevin Federline(she still had a knee injury)....i think.
