Considering the name of the show, you would think most of the people working on this network show struggling to survive would be happy to be working there. Not the case. Everyone is miserable and doesn't care about the history of the show, at this point, they are just in it for the paycheck.

although I did watch Survivor this past season which ended the other day, after not having watched it for several years & it was really great this time around.
Glee
Can't believe Survivor is still on TV. I had braces when that show started.
Never watched "Survivor" because there has always been better shows opposite it that were more worthy of my TV watching time.
I know the clue hints at Survivor but I am wondering if this might be 2 Broke Girls.
Agree with K. "Considering name of the show..."happy" to be there." That points to Glee. Survivor's ratings are down but it still does ok. Finale got 2.2.
The mention of "history" would suggest SNL, but I haven't heard any recent death knells for the show, especially with a Presidential election coming up. The show always does well during those. Glee is no longer on, so given the verbiage, I would say Survivor.
I'll throw another on out there. Maybe The View. It's always making news for all the wrong reasons. It has the "history" but it's a little harder to make the wordplay work.
2 Broke Girls sounds good but gonna throw in The View as well. Whoopi is so over it and making Paula Faris' life a living hell.
Can't be Glee. It isn't on anymore.
Castle. Fillion looks like he has been going through the motions for years and Katic was ready to go after the last season,

I didn't know that because I never watched even 10 seconds of that show.
I'm going with Hawaii Five - 0. Ratings are only fair and at least a couple of cast members are alleged to despise the show and working in Honolulu
