Blind Item #8

She is just not a one man woman. The guy who broke up his marriage to have sex with this celebrity chef thinks it is true love and that she is being faithful to him after never being faithful to anyone. Nope. She is sexting another guy while she is away with the guy who thinks he is the only one for her.

She has no boundaries. Karma is gearing up for this one.

Didn't her dad molest and rape her her whole life though?? I reserve judgment when it comes to giada though

I spent a few days with her and the mafia in Malibu like 10+ years ago. She's dry AF, unbelievably boring, and a total snob. She does like to tell odd stories about her family to complete strangers though. I wasn't impressed.

I've seen that 'she was raped by her father as a kid' thing a couple of times now. Where does that come from? Does she go around telling people?

This is the article about who is believed to be Giada clearly being raped by her father:

Go Giada!
So tiered of hearing of the assholes.
Refreshing to know a woman can to it too.

For something different, Paula Dean.

I read the LA Times article about Giada - her father was sent to prison for raping her. My opinion of her has radically changed. It took a great deal of courage to ask for help, I'm glad she has good support system. But it's no wonder that her boundaries are so fuzzy. I suspect she'll be working through that her entire life.

First, she has a sister. It could have been her.
Second, being a victim of a sex crime does not excuse you from treating others with respect. If it was her, she had a strong relationship with her husband. Unless other gossip says otherwise, Giada pushed a good man away for a good time.
That makes her no better than Hollywood in general.

The LA Times article was published in 1994, when the woman in question was 24. Giada was born in 1970, which means she was 25 when the article ran. Her sisters are younger.

I agree with you: your past isn't an excuse for bad behavior. However, it may explain her hypersexuality, her inability to remain faithful to her husband, her tendency for risky and hurtful behavior. Anyone would have trouble forming loving, trusting romantic relationships when they've endured trauma like that.

Sorry, I meant 24 (not 25) at the time of the article.
