Apparently the alliterate royal is going full on diva and lucky for us complains to her friends that she doesn't get enough respect and that she only wants to go to the fun events. She is convinced everyone of the staff hates her. They probably do. It wouldn't shock me if they end up moving to a different country for a couple of years. She is going to ask. She would love to live in Canada for a few years.

People are jealous that she married an immature balding prince who will never become king, and they are jealous that they aren't contracted to multiple PR appearances a day where they have to be on and smiling at every single one? They're jealous that they have to live a life where they get to do what they want and aren't micromanaged in every single aspect of their existence?

Anyone who agrees to marry into that family is agreeing to everything that goes with it. It should have been a much longer engagement and she should have had a lot more indepth talks about what would be required with the people who are required to do such things. I can't say I feel sorry for anyone who marries into the Windsors. At least Kate seems to enjoy it.
Nutty_favour - I never claimed to be witty, just calling it as a UK resident who isn't a major royalist. I far prefer Meghan to Bland Kate and find the vitriol she brings out of certain people either sinister in origin or just plain bitter jealousy. Kinda makes me, a non- royal supporter in general want to defend a regular actress who somehow won a lottery ticket.

I'm a UK resident too, and a non-Royalist, but I agree with @Connie Courtney. I saw one movie MM was in - a cheesy Hallmark movie - and she was so wooden. She gazed up at her leading man in the movie with the very same expression on her face as gazing at Harry at their wedding. I quite like Kate.

Well, Harry IS dumb. Seriously he's supposed to be the dumbest out of a not very intelligent clan. Meghan went to a good college and had her own blog, etc. She's gotta be a good bit smarter than he is.

We have free health care, many social services and we recently legalized weed. Our strip clubs provide full nudity and our beer has higher alcohol content. We also have some of the most beautiful natural views in the entire world, not to mention Toronto is the most multicultural city in the world AND we tend to be less impressed by celebrities here than the UK and US.

Yes, Markle had a great education...very expensive. Unfortunately, rather than put it to any use, she inflated her tits & took a job opening suitcases for a stupid gameshow. She then spent years and years trying to be an actress & largely failing, until she landed the ONE regular job of her life, as an eye-candy secondary character on a second rate soap (which she dumped as fast as she could when she landed a rich & famous boyfriend). Her blog was insipid, twee, shallow & dull - which is why no one but a bunch of hysterical teenage girls read it until her sex life hit the headlines. Intelligent people don’t lead such empty lives, doing everything in their limited power to achieve fame at all costs. Neither Markle nor her human walking stick are exactly Mensa candidates.

Insurance market in the UK is not as high as in the US. In fact in continental Europe the private sector is tiny in comparison to the US. Gov rules it all.

Her career wasnt that big as she/the media sells it. Few people had even heard of Suits - her biggest achivement as actress. She sold herself well. And Harry has aleays been damaged.

I'm in England in my home town which is a touristy town, and this is what I told a Canadian tourist while I was showing her to the nearest tea-shop.
I couldn't handle the snow & ice over there though :(

At least MM knows what Canada is year round. The royals understanding of Canada is usually spring or summer, or skiing in Whistler as Harry once did as a teen. Ottawa is the second coldest capital after Mongolia's. It would be a hard luck post, for them. Still warmer than the British press though.
