Blind Items Revealed #1

February 2, 2020

Even though there is more proof this foreign born permanent A+ list singer from a permanent A+ list band frequently had sex with very underage girls when he was in his 30's and 40's, people won't say boo.

Rae Dawn Chong/Mick Jagger

Well, it happened in the 70s, so apparently THAT MAKES IT OK!

You can't prosecute when the "victim" was willing and won't testify.

It was a much different mindset in the 1970's. However, Mick entered his 40's during the 1980's, when attitudes had shifted quite a bit and child welfare was beginning to be more respected, and if he was still sexing up girls that young, it's odd that people were still turning the other cheek.

You can't prosecute criminally with no witness testimony. You see this all the time in these assault/rape cases against rappers and NBA players.

Saying it was a different time doesn't make it okay, but it does make it grounded in reality. It was a different time and there is not one classic rock star alive today who is innocent in it...male or female.
The heyday was the 70s but it went on after that just less openly.
I don't believe it should necessarily be prosecuted, but I do believe the old geezers should not be able to enjoy basking in their legend for their remaining years on earth. Let it come out and let them feel a bit of shame. If we're lucky we will be spared another Rolling Stones tour.

The mindset in the 70s was much the same as today, at least as far as older men screwing underage girls, and child welfare in general go. The only difference is that today, everyone screams "rape," even when none occurred, and people sit by like stupid sheep, while the government removes children from their homes, and places them with abusers.

There was no Internet back then, so the easily manipulated weren't manipulated into pointing at shadows and screaming, "Ghost!"

If no one came forward, no charges would have been pressed, and the world was left mostly not knowing what had happened. Those who did know were either glad he got away with it (as they were somehow complicit), or they were left wondering what the hell was wrong with people.

Some things never change. Don't believe the unimaginative who use catchphrases like, "Things were different then *heavy sigh*" No, they weren't.

Wasn't he the one Mackenzie Philips told took her virginity when she was just 14?

The reason why the public now knows these types of relationships are bad is bc these women have grown up and talked about the reality of what the relationship was, at the very least abuse, at the worst rape. Even writing their own books like the girls that Gabriel Matzneff abused.

It is not unimaginative to point out the fact that the *prevailing attitude* was indeed different back then. *sigh for condescending emphasis*

If you read enough groupie accounts from back in the day, you see how much looser things were overall. If you grew up in the 1970's, you know child molestation and exploitation was not really talked about or addressed. "Pretty Baby" was a controversial movie when it came out, but it still got made, naked young Brooke notwithstanding. It was a more permissive time overall, not just in certain circles. That is not the case anymore, now it is more specific to certain circles instead of being a widespread thing.

It took people, books and things like Christina Crawford, Etan Patz, Adam Walsh and as cheesy as it sounds, TV movies like "Something About Amelia" and "Portrait of a Teenage Runaway" to get people to start paying attention to things and clamoring for things to change.

Maybe having Bill Wyman actually keep Mandy Smith as a girlfriend/wife made them finally see how ridiculous and inappropriate the whole thing really is

There are still a substantial number of toothless old hags who still squirt buckets over their Mick rape fantasies. Given that Sir Mick is as old a poof as there is still taking oxygen, these decades old expired fictions are circulated simply for sales purposes. These days, old rockers don't have to fake their deaths but instead need but a few accusers to keep them on the charts.

The seventies were different, and if you weren't a teen then, you have no idea. First, the drinking age was 18. 18 year olds routinely went out with 14 year olds, and bought and shared alcohol. 16 year olds could get a card to smoke in school. Everyone turned a blind eye to fake IDs. Teachers hitting on students and in sometimes "getting lucky". We read of celebrities dating teens, for instance Mackenzie Phillips dating Peter Asher, Linda Blair dating Rick Springfield. No outrage. No AIDS, very little herpes. A shot of penicillin cured most Stds. And the pill was given out like candy, sometimes under the guise of curing acne. Many people didn't realize until years later how screwed up this was.

I'm willing to bet her father did that long before age 14.

You didn't need a card to smoke at my high school. You certainly didn't get carded buying cigarettes, You could buy them from vending machines.

Rae Dawn Chong was 15 years old in 1976. I read her interview admitting that she had "been around" and didn't tell Mick how old she was. Then she added it was all her idea. So, different times and she was willing.

I don't believe this for a second. Mick is very smart. According to MacKenzie Phillips, Mick specifically WAITED until she turned 18 to have sex with her.

Dawn Rae Chong's father is stoner Tommy Chong. Let's see who else says this, if anyone...
