This apartment/home/room booking company is still happily doing business with Russians and whether they know it or not, are acting as facilitators for moving money in and out of the country. There is one house in particular that is a dump and is being rented for $8K a night and has a soccer name in the listing that makes it very easy to find. No one will ever rent it though. They book it and cancel and then repeat the process, with the host getting one night's pay each time. It is done in reverse too with phantom bookings at homes outside the country. It is just much harder to find those homes.
Airbnb/FIFA 2018 house (and the next day, they blocked everything. I guess they do read the blinds)
