Brittany Murphy's Father Wants Her Body Exhumed

Brittany Murphy's father is making noise again about the way his daughter died. He believes that Brittany was poisoned. If he would stop right there, I would tend to believe him or at least think he had a credible case. I still think it is strange that Brittany and her husband died within five months of each other due to almost similar circumstances, but Brittany's mom, who also lived there, suffered none of their health issues. The coroner said that Brittany died of pneumonia, but a report ordered by Brittany's dad said that Brittany had ten heavy metals inside her blood, including rat poison.

The thing is, Brittany's father says that Brittany and Simon Monjack were killed by Homeland Security because they supported a whistleblower. See, that is where he loses me. Why would Homeland Security care what Brittany Murphy said? Even if they did care, why would they kill her? All they have to do is put her on a no fly list and she would have to only work in LA or drive everywhere. Brittany's father has been making a movie about the deaths and wants the coroner to exhume the body, but I don't know what he is going to prove. I think he just wants another scene for his movie.

I know it is just a trailer and it often contains the best moments of the film and the best performances. Maybe it is because Brittany Murphy has been gone so long now, but she looks damn good in this and it is a shame that she died. The last few performances she gave in movies were some of my favorites of her career and I think she was really coming into her own. Something Wicked looks like it deserves a wider release than just some theatres in the northwest.

Brittany Murphy's Mom Writes Open Letter To Dispute Poison Claims

I am not a big fan of Brittany Murphy's mom. I think there has been something shady about her for a long time and I don't think she ever told the full truth of what she knew about the death of her daughter or Simon Monjack. With all of that being said though I still trust her way more than I trust Brittany Murphy's dad who is a three time convicted felon. He is trying to make a buck off his daughter's death just like he probably tried to make a buck or two off her while she was living either by asking her directly for money or selling stories about her to the tabloids.

Was there something wrong with Brittany prior to her death? Absolutely. Was there something wrong with Simon Monjack prior to his death? Absolutely. Is it strange that those two died of some type of mold or other thing that seemed to have spared even the slightest illness to Brittany Murphy's mom even though she lived with them? Absolutely. I have always felt there needed to be more investigation into the deaths of these two and that no one was ever given a straight answer. They were the strangest deaths I have seen in a long time and I don't think the full truth has ever been given but I also don't think that what Brittany's father or lab has done will help matters because they want a buck and not the truth. So, they may have ruined a really good chance to learn something more.

Brittany Murphy May Have Been Poisoned - Maybe

Last week would have been Brittany Murphy's 36th birthday. Instead she died back in 2008 of  some never really explained death. In the past week though there have been reports that she may have died from rat poison and her husband of the same thing just five months later. A lab report says that Brittany died with elevated levels of certain toxins which were discovered after examining her hair. The toxins were above WHO guidelines and the report then says that if Brittany didn't ingest the things to cause the increase in toxins then someone else must have done it and then her death was murder. The fact that her husband died the same way a few months later suggests there was something strange going on which was not just the mold that was listed as a cause of death.

The problem is that both of them were loaded down with all kinds of drugs and medications which were also toxic and were not in good physical shape to begin with. The police never followed up on this and Brittany's hair was tested in the investigation. I would be the first person to jump on the Brittany death train conspiracy here and would always have blamed her husband if he had not died shortly after. Then the blame light starts looking at Brittany's mom but detectives were looking hard at her for a long time and couldn't find anything.

What I think is more likely is that Brittany's dad is writing a book and wants people to buy it. I think what he should focus on instead is why Brittany married Simon Monjack. That is one of life's great mysteries.

Brittany Murphy's Final Film Is Completed

It took almost three years, but Brittany Murphy's final film, Something Wicked has finally been completed. I remember when she was making that movie and how there was so much going on in her life and she had made them hire her husband as her makeup artist and then of course she died while making the movie. As much as Brittany had a troubled life at least she could act. I was rarely disappointed in her movies. I wonder how good this one will be and whether they should have just left it alone instead of trying to edit her performance so it made sense with what she had already shot.

Clueless Reunion

I had so many people send me e-mails yesterday asking me to post about the Clueless reunion so here you go. I have no problem with a Clueless reunion. I liked the movie a lot. I thought it was really cute and stars so many people who are still in the business that it is an exception for a teen movie. Have you noticed that the teen movies that you still talk about a decade or two after their release are the ones that generally starred people who are still working and are still popular. Ferris Bueller. Clueless. Pretty In Pink. Can't Hardly Wait. There are lots more, but take a look at some teen movie that did horribly and see how many of the teen actors are still around. Not the adult actors, but the teens. What was your favorite teen movie?

Brittany Murphy & Terrorism

A reader named Becki wins the award for most interesting story sent in this week. There is a new documentary being released this week called The Terror Within and in the movie it talks about how Brittany Murphy and Simon Monjack were being watched and terrorized by the Department Of Homeland Security. They said their phones were bugged and that Simon was consistently abused by Immigration & Customs the entire time he lived in the States.

Apparently the writer of the movie, Julia Davis was a friend of Simon & Brittany and she was being targeted by Homeland Security and this made Brittany and Simon a target. It is bizarre, but you know I love conspiracies.
