Esquire has named its sexiest woman alive and this year's winner is Penelope Cruz. I would have voted for a different Cruz sister, but they didn't ask me. No one remembers last year's winner who was Scarlett Johansson, and this year will probably be no different. The only time anyone remembers is when people get screwed over like Ryan Gosling losing to Bradley Cooper in People's sexiest man alive. of course there was that whole Gwyneth Paltrow winning the People award for Most Beautiful Woman. See, those are what the average person remembers. I do seem to recall that Jessica Biel won the first Esquire award and other winners have included Rihanna, Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry and Charlize Theron. One time I would like Esquire or People to take a vote of readers to actually come up with someone that average people think are the sexiest people alive instead of making this a contest of who has the best publicist.
