If I were Richie Sambora and Heather Locklear's kid I would just ride my bike everywhere. The little girl watches her dad get busted while driving, and then has to hear about mom getting busted while driving. I mean at this point, the odds are better for her if she starts hitchhiking to school.
Heather was busted over the weekend for allegedly driving under the influence of prescription drugs. Ummm, Yeah. That scares me. I can probably guess that the drugs were prescribed for her depression or anxiety when she checked out of the hospital she had admitted herself into for treatment of those issues. Prescription drugs scare me because you really don't know how your body is going to react. When you drink, you know what is going to happen to an extent. With a pill or pills you may have no idea what is going to happen or when. Popping a pill at 3pm, you probably don't envision yourself getting arrested by the cops at 430pm parked in the middle of a highway. Meanwhile, the next time she takes one of the pills it may do absolutely nothing to you, and so maybe you take two, or maybe you think your body is used to them now. Whatever it is, the next time when you take it, you may have a completely different reaction.
I'm glad Heather is ok, and I'm glad her daughter wasn't in the car.

i like heather. i wish she'd get her act together.
this picture will haunt her forever...
She has never been the same since her "dad" died without acknowledging her as his child.
This is just rumor that she was Aaron's love child thus the reason she was in all his shows.
I wonder what the deal was with the sunglasses... One of the reports I saw mentioned that she backed over or ran over a pair of sunglasses several times.
She actually looks good there. She looks better not all made up--much younger.
her mug shot is better than a pic of me after hours of primping...this story makes me feel bad for her because i believe she really is suffering from depression and not getting high off prescribed meds for recreation...
She also might have been trying a new medication - sometimes they can have wildly unexpected side effects.
I feel bad for Heather. I hope she can get past this low point in her life.
it is awful for her, but nothing will happen. her lawyer will argue a bad reaction, or dependency, she'll do a rehab stint, and everything will be closed. which I'll be happy to see happen, I like her a lot too.
Lip injections.
I doubt she was Aaron's lovechild--she'd look like a frog, if so.
I thought prescription drugs for anxiety and/or depression were safe enough to take every day without having to worry about operating a car. There are many people on this type of medicine who are able to function properly, including driving a car.
Perhaps she took too many? Misjudged? Miscounted?
Would her doctor prescribe something and then let her go out and discover if she had a bad reaction to the medicine?
A lot of people build up resistance to the "safe" meds, or they just don't work right for them, so they have to switch to riskier ones. Most also work better for mild depression, and it's sounded like hers is pretty bad. The brain is a complicated machine. It takes a while for the reactions to show, so she couldn't just sit around the doctor's office waiting to see what happened, and even if she knew she shouldn't drive, the meds could've messed with her judgment. I was in a support group that had a few women who had difficulty finding the right meds, and it was a nightmare for them.
Look at those pupils!Damn!!
I thought it was well known she is a major cokehead.
I hope she gets the help she needs.
didn't she enter a rehab facility for 'depression?' that never made sense to me because rehab places deal with substance abuse. you go to a different kind of place for depression, don't you? i thought the word was she was drinking and using prescription drugs and that's why she went to rehab, so this sounds like it could be a relapse rather than a new problem.
ok back up and puhleaze elaborate more about the aaron spelling father rumor...b/c WOW that would be some news!!
Also i think the pop out eyes come from Candy Spelling so technically not all of his childrem would have that trait.
Either way...poor Heather, something is definitely off with her. I definitely hope she gets the help and support she needs.
also, a lot of psychotropics take a couple of weeks for your body and brain to aclimate. the newer ones are better, but not everybody can take them.
mooshki, i was one of those. they ran the gamut on me, and the side effects of most were too much for me to deal with.
also, if she took something like a xanax, that stuff will mess with you, big time, no matter how long you've been taking them.
In 2001, I was diagnosed as Bi-polar, and then started taking all kinds of meds. Guess what??? Not only did they not work, I ended up all kinds of f@cked up from them. One pill, Depakote, caused me to gain 30lbs in3 months!!! Seraquel cause bladder incontanace (thank God that was temporary). Klonapins were too good, and i enjoyed them way too much, and got loopy as Hell. Another, Paxil, I had such a bad reaction to I almost had a heart attack!! I finally had to give up on the meds, and now when I feel loopy, I smoke a bit of the green stuff, and I'm great!!! Much healthier than all those toxic pills!!! I bet that's what happening to Heather! People think that the meds today are some kind of miracle cures, and for some people, they are. But, for a few, they can be dangerous.
Everything that mooshki has said. Unfortch, I had the same experience as Heather after starting a new medication. And if it's a "brand new one" there may not be any trials/evidence as to the side-effects AND you can get railroaded by the local, over-zealous L.E.
Don't judge her - wait until more info is released.
Get better, Heather, and be thankful no one was hurt.
Isn't funny that she's the 'Preference' spokeswoman, and it looks like her roots are like, 3 inches long!
I just think it's funny, because I buy that haircolor, in 'her' shade.
wow, and i thought my roots were bad...
but yeah, i still love ya heather.
I hope Heather gets well, too. She is very likeable and has never been a queen bee who thinks she's better than everyone else.
I had no idea that these types of meds could wack you out. Very dangerous!!
It occurred to me that the police took her in for her own safety, as well as that of others.
