Not that long ago this news anchor in LA hosted a charity event. A guest at the event was this back in the day A list singer who started out in gospel. He asked her out but she said no. Over the next few weeks he kept asking and she finally gave in. I mean this is a guy she had been crushing on for years. They went to lunch and then back to his place. Throughout the entire date he did nothing but talk about himself and all his accomplishments. On the way back to drop her off he put in a CD of his greatest hits and sang them to her. She went out with him a couple more times but he never stopped talking about or bragging about himself so she dumped him.

He's so talented. BTW, am I remembering incorrectly- wasn't there a blind insinuating Carrie U's injury was not from the reasons she said? And now poor thing reveals she had a severe injury to her face?
There was a blind suggesting she drank and fell...sort of like this last accident I think

Yes, @Missyrocks, and I thought of the same thing as soon as I read that story. I remember everyone pointing out that it was odd that she kept being quick to point out that her husband rushed to Nashville to be by her side, as if she wanted to make sure everyone knew it wasn't him. She's doing the same thing again - mentioning that the doctor told her husband that all of those stitches to her face were required. I don't know, it's sort of odd.
So he was cheating on his now wife?

If she had been crushing on him for years, why did he have to talk her into going out with him? Confused.
So cheesy. And he had to talk her into going out with him because he was engaged.
Which just goes to show, anybody can find someone desparate enough to get married. Lol
He's a wedding singer now, I was at a wedding last year that they hired him.
To be fair, if you pay any big act enough, they'll show up at a bar mitzvah or a birthday and perform. The Rolling Stones have done it, among other acts.

I want to know who the LA news anchor is. Leyna Nguyen, maybe, she's single again after rebound dating Kato Kaelin after her divorce and she does charity events.
LOL. One of the funniest blinds I've read in a while. I remember him from the 90s. He did a couple songs that were good, but I'm not so sure I agree with Enty's designation of him as A list. Only two of his songs cracked the Billboard Top 10 pop music chart and he has never won any awards.
I recently looked him up to see who he's married to now. He should either shave the beard or dye it. And he should seriously consider getting some cream for those ridges in his forehead.
Been at a fundraiser in a Basketball private suite with him. He was hitting on a 20 year old (this was 2009) and she had no clue who he was...
He literally started signing: "ONE...it's like a dream come true..."
And she pretended to recognize it.
There was a news article today, where she was at the same resort in December that some reality "star" was, too. She posted the pic of the two of them and said she saw nothing "amiss" about Carrie's face.. again.. her photo was taken in December.. the fall was in November.. something isn't adding up...
