Basically any of the original Match Game or Hollywood Squares stars.
Turd Ferguson.
Charro
Why not add Charlie Weaver, fill out the whole Square.I'll take Joanne Worley to block!
Geez, reading comprehension is not really that difficult. It says contestant, not panelist. Turd Ferguson is the only answer that fits.
Paul Lynde for me always!
Paul Lynde. Because chiffon wrinkles too easily.
The fabulous Paul Lynde!
How about Dorothy Killgallen? @Alf Landon, we read this in Entonese. I was confused as to how anyone can be a permanent contestant. But on some game shows, the celebrity helps with the answer, therefore is also a contestant.
No one said Betty White! Password.

Fannie flagg
Paul Lynde.
Anybody on Match Game 76
Richard Dawson, pre-Family Feud.
Ulriiika-ka-kaaaa
One for us Brits there.
Paul Lynde is tough to beat. Same with Charles Nelson Reilly and Brett Sommers.
Have to agree. Anyone on Match Game or Hollywood Squares.
If you count American Idol I'd say the original panel. Simon, Paula, and Randy
Freddy Flintoff
Paul Lynde. He was also awesome on Bewitched.
Paul Lynde, CN Reilly, Rip Taylor, Kitty Carlisle, and that blond guy from Laugh in. Joan Rivers was on Squares as well as Joanne Worley and Truman Capote. do much fun...
Gilbert Gottfried as the middle Square too.
Jim J Bullock on all the 80’s/90’s game shows
Betty White on Password.
Jaye P Morgan on the gong show was great too.
Kip Addotta Make Me Laugh
Charles Nelson Reilly. He defined droll.
Paul Lynde...we have a consensus!
@Troy Dyer...loved Jim J Bullock on Hollywood Squares reboot!
Paul Lynde was the best, but he would be crucified in today's overly sensitive PC world.
yes @ Skyler. and hilarious on the Gong show. forgot who her sidekick was.. not GG dancing machine. lol
Arte Johnson!
Yes! And he was great on a win, lose, or draw!
Nipsey Russell was always fun.

JoAnne Worley
PAUL LYNDE for the dude.
JOAN RIVERS for the lady.
How could there be a permanent game show contestant?
Paul Lynde is my vote. Also a great actor in Bye, Bye Birdie and Bewitched (I think).
Paul lynde is the correct answer. Far and away the best gameshow gay.
Jom j bullock is the sucker answer. I'd rather have to gaze into ted knights eyes while cosmic cow gives me a blowie than sit through a jim j episode of squares
Paul Lynde
When I was a child watching Match Game 7x/PM I always thought Charles Nelson Riley and Brett Sommers were married.
Heck, I was under 10, what the hell did I know that CNR was gay.
Bennett Cerf. God am I old.
Paul Lynde
Kitty Carlyle from To Tell the Truth :)
Paul Lynde and Wally Cox.
