ReplyDeletethere was a pretty blatant lainey blind a while back when press was being done for, god i can't remember if was leatherheads or get smart, but she basically said that he was interrupting Steve Carell in the interviews and being obnoxious in general. I can't seem to locate it, but I know I read it in the Gossip Rocks archives.
Also, I have The Office dvds and I've listened to the commentary on a few of the episodes, and he seemed like an ass. I think it was the episode called The Coup, on season 3, and they had a panel discussing the episode and he kept interrupting the other cast members and Rainn Wilson called him out on it a few times. It was pretty awkward. He really seemed like a d-bag when he all of a sudden he just completely stopped commenting altogether. I know Rainn Wilson, Ed Helms, Angela Kinsey, and Rashida Jones were the other commentators. Then they all were like "John, are you still there? Are you on your blackberry again? Why aren't you commenting anymore" something like that. And he made some smartass remark like "Well, Rainn was saying this was his favorite scene" and they all were like "whoa okay." He doesn't come across very well in most of the commentary on the dvds.
Sucks because I thought he was a genuinely humble guy.

ReplyDeleteAs for John Krasinski, a very disappointed Lainey wrote that an impeccable source told her that he was behaving like a douche. Apparently he was doing things like freaking out if someone was looking at him etc. The source said he was one of those publicist protected twats who presents a nice face at the right times, but was a complete ass behind the scenes. However, Lainey attributed it to his getting too pumped up over Leatherheads and speculated that since the film died a quick death, that perhaps his head would shrink back to normal.
Well, depending on how well Leatherheads and his movie at Sundance did, his ego should be back to where it was S1-S2 of The Office. I liked John better when he was chunkier. :(

Is Jenna Fisher pregnant? She's been wearing a lot of flowy, empire-waisted stuff lately, and she's looking bustier than usual. There's a rumor that Pam's going to find out she's pregnant very soon on The Office - are they borrowing from real life?
