One Point For Katie In The Katie Holmes Marathon Conspiracy
While I am still not sure whether Katie Holmes ran and finished the NYC Marathon a few years ago, I will say that it appears one of the points which is always brought up, may in fact not be such a big deal. People who say she didn't run the marathon point to the fact that there is no way she could have run 26 miles and then managed to shove her feet into a pair of heels that night for an event.
To that I respond with the images below. This is Jenni Falconer who is a television host in the UK. She ran the London Marathon yesterday in a time of about 3 hours and 40 minutes and then a few hours later was at the BAFTA's where she wore heels. I love a good conspiracy theory, but at least as far as the heels go, I think that part is a no go.

I think it's great that Jenni Falconer really ran a marathon and then really showed up at an event in heels the same night. That takes determination.
I still think Katie didn't do it, and a handler took her responder through all the checkpoints.

Anyone, man or woman, who can run a marathon in 3:40 is an experienced marathoner. Not a surprise that she can recover quickly.

The whole high heels arguement isn't even a big deal...it's the split times and the photogrtaphic evidence that matters.
I'm not sure if KH ran it or not and I'm not sure why this is still an issue for some people. I can say that having run a marathon, it is surprising how quickly you recover. Depends on the type and amount of pre-race training/prep you do, but I think you could be wearing heels that night (not me however). Now, those heels may not have been comfortable, but I can imagine KH would have squeezed her feet in them. TC seems to like his ladies towering over him so flats would only allow a few inches over him.
Really, I think people just don't want Holmes to have done anything that they themselves don't think they could do. It's called being a hater, in the wise words of Dina Lohan. ;)
I try to stay indifferent to stars whom I have no reason to hate on, and although I have never been a fan of Tommy Boy, i like Katie and honestly don't give a shit whether she ran the marathon or not. Hell, I'd believe it... It's not like she's incapable of doing something that thousands of people do every year....
