GRAMMY FASHION
Last night’s Grammy Red-Carpet was nothing short of….interesting. While some of music’s brightest Stars lit up the arrival line in gorgeous nudes, black and greens with embellishments, lace, shimmer and sequins, others had me saying, “What the hell are they thinking??”
Here’s a look at the sexiest and saddest red-carpet getups of the night!!
BEST DRESSED WOMEN:
FERGIE rocks a stunning, electric blue Emilio Pucci mini. Is it just me or do her legs go on for days??
HEIDI KLUM also nails it in Emilio Pucci. This is my favorite look Heidi has ever donned. Yes, it’s a bold statement…but so true.
TAYLOR SWIFT is a winner both on and off stage in this shimmery teal, Kaufman Franco gown. The back is equally as delicious
RIHANNA works it out in a white, embellished, Elie Saab haute couture gown.
LEA MICHELE had last minute wardrobe change to this adorable, feathered Romona Kaveza cocktail dress. Apparently, she was going to wear white but realized it was see-thru just hours before the award show.
BEST DRESSED MEN
MAXWELL melts my heart in Prada
ADAM LAMBERT looks more fashion-forward than ever in his take on a black tux. Note-Glambert had to steal the show considering he served as Fashion correspondent for Entertainment Tonight at the Grammys)
SLASH keeps me happy as a clam in his sexy, tight leather pants that scream Rock and Roll!!
WORST DRESSED:
KATY PERRY in Zac Posen. I didn’t like this nude-colored, backless gown at all. Katie said she wore it because she was inspired by her trip to India. Not sure if you saw, but she had major side-boob action going on and it wasn’t very attractive.
GAGA in this Armani Prive “solar-system” number. Yawn. When someone tries too hard to be different, it has the opposite effect on me. BORING! Subtlety is so much more appealing.
IMOGEN HEAP is technologically advanced in her “Twitter dress.” I’m confused…Can’t we just leave twitter to the internet???
KENNY G in JEANS?? Call me old fashion, but jeans are never okay at an award show

Why is it that with everything good that's happened to Lea Michele this year, she hasn't been able to crack a smile in a single awards show photo? I'm trying to decide if she thinks that it will make her appear more serious or mature or sexy or whatever, or if that's really just her natural inclination.
Slash is always A #1 in my book. He is right up there with Alan Cumming when it comes to the awesome. ;-)

Um sorry,but Adriana's 'take' on both Heidi and Gaga tells me she and I will never agree. And I guess Kate Hudson must not have been there since she's apparently always your 'best dressed'.

And for the record, I like that GaGa, 1. is actually talented, can play piano, sing etc. 2. Is well spoken 3. admits that her outfits are out there, but doesn't give a flying flip what Ms. Costa or anyone else thinks.
That's what I have always loved about the Grammys, the kooky people that make up the music biz. Not these manufactured blah boring are they a model or an actress or singer types. Point proven that you don't have to have a good voice to win a Grammy--just cute and marketable.

RocketQ and Chihuahua, I am SO with you. I swear, I think Fergie, Heidi, Taylor ANd RIhanna looked awful. It is clear I will never ever be good at the whole fashing thing.
And Gaga was frecking amazing. I love the fact that she can actually sing and play.
I am looking at that picture of Lady Gaga in green and wondering is there a peen. I know she confesed about it, but I still had a doubt.
Fergie's bod did look rocking (I think she had what US Weekly would call "revenge body" going on), but the dress confused me. That thing on the front looked like something from a Comic-con Star Wars suit.
Disagree on the fashion critique, but as soon as I saw Maxwell my thoughts went out the window. Too bad he had to have his "comeback" this year 'cuz he's been robbed when it's came to awards. He was so darling when he kissed Jennifer Hudson's hand on the red carpet. Ryan Seacrest said "Don't ever take a date to a Maxwell concert." Ya, right, Ryan.

I think Adrianna is spot on with Lady Gaga. She's trying too hard and it's f***ing annoying. Those ugly hoove shoes everyone and their mother thinks they have to wear at the moment and that it would make them a fashion icon or make them appear as trend setters. Gaga might have a voice and is able to play the piano but why all the freak show to distract from that? She is successful with it now but someday or at least when the next record is coming out people will get tired of her trying to be ten steps ahead of everybody fashion-wise.
Also, I'm surprised that nobody said something about her stage costume. You could almost see her labia in one of those pictures.

Lady Gaga used to annoy me because I thought she was trying too hard to be different. Then I realized - she isn't trying. She IS different, and she is a lot closer to art than fashion. She doesn't even belong in this lineup.
And to say she "bores" you? What a stupid, obnoxious thing to say. Talk about trying too hard! What's boring is Heidi once again wearing something shiny, tight, and short.

Fergie looks great. Taylor is an ugly rat face, and she can't sing at all she stunk. Gaga is a fraud,. She pretend she is doesn't go for people bashing looks, but she hangs with Perez hilton who makes a living bashing women's looks. She's talented, but fake.
If Katy Perry really wanted to show how "inspired" she was by her trip to India, she should have chosen a dress from an Indian designer. She could've found something sexy and classy, and wouldn't have had to resort to side-boob to get attention.
