Howard K Stern - Guilty
Yesterday a Los Angeles jury found Howard K Stern guilty of a count of conspiring to prescribe prescription drugs using fraudulent means and a count of conspiring to furnish prescription drugs to an addict. One of the doctors on trial was convicted of four counts, while the other doctor was acquitted on all charges. Stern had faced seven charges but was acquitted of the other five. Stern faces up to 3 years in jail when he is sentenced in January.
The most disturbing thing of all to me in yesterday's proceedings was the statement from the doctor who was acquitted. "A victory for patients everywhere who suffer with chronic pain." Umm, yeah, I am all for helping people who suffer chronic pain, but I think the pain Anna Nicole Smith had was from all the f**king drugs she was taking and not suffering the effects of an injury from her exotic dancing days. I could be wrong, but was there ever any proof that she suffered from chronic pain?

TMZ was saying "poor Dr. Kapoor's life was ruined by this." sorry, but Dr. Kapoor was right in the THICK of it with the other two,how he got off I'm not sure.
It will be a looooooooong time befoe I ever feel any sympathy for any doctors. And that's based just on what they've done to me alone. TMZ seems to be laying with the dogs lately too.
"Dr. Kapoor's life was ruined"? Last I checked he still had one, which is more than we can say for Anna Nicole.
She probably had back pain from her breasts or arthritis when she was heavier...but that's all I can think of.
Howard K. Stern is such a fucking weasel. I never liked him.
And can I just say that I don't think that a single person, aside from J. Howard Marshall & Hugh Hefner, had her best interests at heart. Everyone was trying to get a piece of her or get into her good graces to make their lives easier. It makes me sick. I always thought she could have been the next Jayne Mansfield or Mamie Van Doren, if given the proper acting lessons & roles.

RIP Anna & Daniel, I pray that you have found the peace and sanctuary, you could not find on Earth. IMO, the only chronic pain Anna suffered from was trying to get off drugs. Than the unbearable pain, of knowing, Howard gave Daniel her methadone which in combination with the prescribed meds he was on, killed her beloved son. Junkie or not, she was a devoted, loving Mom. Daniel's death was an accident, but Anna knew, it was her drug use, that by proxy, killed him. She couldn't handle that and let herself be driven by the snake Stern, to complete destruction. So sad I admired and loved Anna, and believed she was so much more, than she gave herself credit for.
Glad too, Howard was convicted, and hope he goes to jail, and that his life is hell. IMO he killed both Anna and Daniel, with his unrelenting greed and need to control Anna, by keeping her an addled junkie, who needed him, to get her drugs and handle all the things in life, that junkies can't deal with.
She looks so gaunt and harsh in that picture, her skin is just hanging off of her.
According to Larry Birkhead's testimony at the Daniel's Inquest, Anna GAVE her son ecstasy and methadone because she "whould prefer that Daniel do drugs in her presence instead of running around experimenting with his friends." Anna was directly responsible for her son's demise. That's why she was tormentd, took sedatives and died. Anna was a talentless bimbo wannabe MM, who wanted fame and money without hard work, talents, education. She used and abused people to get what she wanted. Old Marshall gave her $7M in cash plus diamonds, but she wanted $400M. She caused enormous distress to his family. People shouldn't praise and condone mother who gave her son drugs. Daniel didn't have a normal, happy life with such mom and her debauchery. That's why he was mentally ill young person on antidepressants.
Let's say she was suffering from chronic pain, either because of her heavy breasts (which do cause back pain) or something else. Well, I broke my hip 2 years ago and have chronic pain, but my doctor only gives me the absolute lowest dosage of pain medication and it is extremely controlled. If I run out....too bad. I just have to deal with it until I can get a refill. Oh,and none of my pain meds had to be injected.
Honestly, I could not care less.

Both of them were cheap attempts to capitalize on Marilyn's image and it showed; at least Anna was her own creation (at first anyway)
