Justin Bieber Sings To Fans From A Paris Balcony
I guess Justin Bieber is filming a new movie or something because there are two cameras up on the balcony with him as he performs to a crowd of fans below while in Paris. He sang Baby with a megaphone and I doubt the crowd could hear the guy playing guitar but the cameras would have so basically it was all a set up for the movie or television special or just to watch at home when he is in his 30's and playing the summer casino circuit. Yeah, yeah, I know, he is different. That is what everyone said about the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus and NKOTB and every other boy band that has ever been formed. They have a very short shelf life.

In Bieber's case, his shelf life hasn't been short enough.
I read yesterday that the whole european tour is being filmed for an NBC special.
I'm not even going to watch this because so far I have managed to never hear a Bieber performance, and I'd like to keep it that way.
that's genius, good for him! it's an excellent pr move. smart kid. further, every a & b list artist films--at the very least--the important markets on a tour, whether they are releasing a concert film at the end of the tour (brilliant way to extend merchandising $), or have a tv deal (like little bieb's nbc one, or most often, a precursor for an mtv 'unplugged' deal, where tour footage serves as production package filler). it's nothing 'new' or anything little biebs has invented or revolutionized. it's done all the freaking time, by artists the world over. he's just smart to capitalize on the hordes of fans gathered outside the hotel. it helps that he's very personable and known for being good to his fans...but i'm telling you, whoever is advising him deserves a raise.

Nobody "made" him. Nobody is keeping him there. And nobody will be responsible when he fades away. It's called life. Sometimes you get lucky.
McSpanky needs a bloody mary now. Stat. Oh, and if you haven't watched The Biebs perform, you're completely missing what all the fuss is about. The camera loves the kid. Don't be a hater.
It was cute, and the only safe way for him to interact with fans even if it was planned as a pr ploy. At least all those 15 year olds got a little something for all that standing around they did.

The boy bands and teen idols of the past never bothered me. He does. I can't figure out exactly why, but I really, really dislike him.
