Random Photos Part Three

Definitely not going to be a Lohan in there.

Britney Spears is back in LA and back holding hands with her boyfriend.
Carly Rae Jepsen waits for a ride at LAX. Unless she gets another hit song, she is probably going to have to Super Shuttle it soon.
Channing Tatum helps his wife in London.
Daniel Day Lewis hangs out with his son. Tell Lincoln jokes.
Elisabeth Moss in GQ.
Fergie strolls the beaches of Brazil.
Ashley Greene was papped for the first time since her condo fire.
Gerard Butler is always willing to help unbutton or button clothes.Practice makes perfect he always says.

Moss looks gorgeous!

And I love Gerry's cheeky grin.

Someone on DListed pointed out that Normal Dave's t-shirt looks like it says Vagina Tech. I can't un-see that.

greenmountaingal said...

DDL - yum!

I know he's gross, but I think Gerard Butler is delish.

Oh, Britney. Fine example of money can't buy you class.

I know she's annoying, but I think Carly Rae Jepsen looks great with that hairstyle.

I think Elisabeth Moss is fug.

Meanie Rhysie said...

DDL! Swoon!! I've been loving him since The Unbearable Lightness of Being. Swoons again...

Moss looks demented...in a cute way.

Anna Nonymous said...

Wouldn't Kristen Bell be a celebrity that obeys laws, is faithful and is always sober in public? I like her.
Ashley Greene looks skinnier, I hope she eats. I can't for the life of me figure out why any girl would want to be in the real world of trying to make it as an actress. There's only so many skinny pretty young girl roles out there.

LottaColada said...

That tombstone can go to the angel that is Betty White.

Wow I guess Ashley Greene know how to hide when she wants to. Just goes to show ya, you can be under the radar in LA if you really want to.

OT: Just wanted to thank everyone again for all your kind wishes :) XoXo

Fergie in a mumu makes me smile

I second Gerry's cheeky grin!

That's cute the Tatums brought their dog:) snow in London? Wow .. It's been in the 70s in the nw so it's hard to think its so cold somewhere that has comparable weather

MrsAmiss said...

@Anna Nonymous I, also love Kristen Bell. Big Veronica Mars fan. I would like to think she belongs in that category. Her love of animals I love too.
Gerard gives me the yucks. But I know he's others cup of tea.

Oh lord y'all. Halle is pregnant

Lucas said...

Seriously, ladies - can we just do away with those boots entirely? And ESPECIALLY if there isn't snow on the ground? I don't go out of the house wearing socks with my Birkenstocks (though lord knows I want to), so let's call it a truce? Sound good?

LottaColada said...

Which boots are you taking about?

Pip said...

@green, I agree, Moss is not an attractive woman. She looked baaaaad as a blonde.

The Real Dragon said...

Only in NY. I just saw bird in my kitchen eating. WTF.

ethorne said...

Channing Tatum looks like he has peg legs.

@Lucas-Brit and her Uggs are sole mates.

ethorne said...

@dragon-The one house I lived in a few years, a bat would get in 3 times a year. The best time was when hethorne caught one in mid-air with a baseball glove.

LottaColada said...

@dragon- LMAO what was it eating?

Lucas said...

@Lotta - The hideous Uggs Britney is wearing.

Lucas said...

Can I get a rimjob, er rim shot for ethorne?

The Real Dragon said...

@ethorne A Bat. You won. lol

Gayeld said...

@dragon. I had a possum in my kitchen once. I used to leave the backdoor open in the evening for the cats (one of which was siamese) and didn't think anything of it at first when I saw something beige trying to get into the catfood bag. When I did, I shut it in the laundry room and went after it with the broom until I could "sweep" it outside

Creepy damn things.

The Real Dragon said...

@lotta it was like pound cake lol I came in time to shush it away. I kinda wanna it eat it still lol

msgirl said...

Is anyone else watching that new Jane Campion TV show? Moss is terrific in it.

Jason Blue Eyes said...

In a few more months Carly Rae can share a car with that Gangnam Style guy.

The Real Dragon said...

@gayeld Possum are funny looking. It probably wanted to eat your cat

LottaColada said...

@Lucas- *facpalm* can i keep my uggs if i promise to only wear them in 20 degree weather? I don't understand how Britney wears them in LA.
Fun Fact: she hates socks and doesn't wear them with any closed shoes!

LottaColada said...

@dragon- OMG lol 5 second rule counts here!

parissucksliterally said...

I too agree that Elizabeth Moss is not pretty...but I LOVE Peggy Olsen!

Britney - another day, another mess.

ablake said...

I've had a thing for DDL since "In the name of the Father" (fantastic movie based on a true story, btw)

Lord help me but I think Channing is sexxxxxxxxy. Not so much Butler, though.

AKM said...

Really? I think that when Elisabeth is done up and isn't Peggy-frumpy, she is gorgeous. She should continue to keep her hair dark at all times, though.

EmEyeKay said...

@Dragon DON'T EAT THE CAKE!!

Bird germs! Eww!

Laura said...

I found a bat in my toilet once and it was still alive. I never went to the bathroom in the dark again.

I agree with the K Bell love! I'm a backer for the movie, 25 dollers well spent (I hope!)

The Real Dragon said...

@EmEye. Okay I wont. I put in the garbage. =]

Izzie said...

Ugh, bats! Rats with wings!

When I was a kid, I was standing with my much older cousin at the bus stop. Early morning in the winter, so it was still pretty dark out. She had huge 80's helmet hair and a bat flew right into it and got stuck. The bus driver pulled up to two shrieking girls trying frantically to dislodge a bat from sticky hairspray. Oh, yeah, we were traumatized.

EmEyeKay said...

@dragon, you'll thank me later ;)

I'll thank you NOW because you reminded me to change my avi (speaking of birds...).

The Real Dragon said...

@Em thank u and Welcome.

Where do you guys live with all these bats stories. Im kinda jealous. I always wanted to see bat in person

Sunny said...

I'm sorry, Carebear. . .WHAT?????????????????????????

Laura said...

@dragon I was going to college in Pennysalvania at the time of the toilet bat. I live in Austin TX now and we have the largest bat colony in North America living under a bridge downtown. They fly out out at dusk over the Lake to eat eat. There is even a Bat Festival each year on the bridge.

@em that avi is great.

ablake said...

dragon, then you should come visit Austin, there is a cave famous for the bats flying out of it at a certain time of year, so many that it makes the sky go dark

Soft Talker said...

@Lucas - since uggs were actually created as "après surf" wear, can I keep wearing mine when I'm finished rowing/paddle boarding/swimming? Like Brit I loathe socks and the boots keep my feet warm. I promise not to wear during trips to Walmart in 80 degree LA weather ;)

ablake said...

Jinx Laura :)
Gotta love Austin. Bats keeping it weird

Laura said...

Ha @ABlake they do help keep it weird. Great minds!

Pip said...

Dragon, you should've taken a picture! That bird hit the jackpot, finding a place where cake was available!

urban chaos said...

Happy bday Lotta! and Izzie, I have hebbie du bejeebies now!

I saw a giant ass possum about a month ago with my daughter when we were walking the dog one evening (garbage night!) damn those things are UGLY!

Gerry looks good here!

ethorne said...

@Lucas First I have to make an anal bleaching appointment.

ethorne said...

Lmao @dragon Like when Miranda threw her cake in the trash & kept eating it anyway. (SATC)

rocketyank said...

Agree. I think she's quite pretty.

ethorne said...

@dragon-My brother has a bat house nailed to the top of his house- he invites the fuckers. When I was a kid, a bat flew in the car window while driving & landed on my mom's frickin arm.

I think they're stalking me.

ablake said...

<3 Laura
these stories remind me of when I lived in a house with a fenced in backyard. I let my little dog out one night and gave him a few minutes to do his business. The door opened from the kitchen area so I propped it open and called his name to come back in and turned my back so I could continue cooking. I turned around when I heard to little pittar patter of feet to give him a tret, only to feed a skunk. A SKUNK!
I screamed and off course that made him run up to the door, as in...the only way out. So It's me, skunk, door, dog.
Needless to say I should have taken out stock in tomato juice the day before.

Sarah said...

Where I live in Australia we have a lot of flying foxes - not true bats but pretty close. I love watching them fly overhead at dusk, you can hear the wings flapping & the little noises they make.
I know Gerard Butler is a total skeeze but if you wrapped him up for my birthday I would be very very happy

Zeeky_Boogy_Doog said...

Oh! But skunks are so cute! It is too bad they use stink as a defense, they'd be the most loved creatures ever!

Mama June said...

Yay Peggy Olsen! I think Elizabeth is pretty in these pics.

Ashley Greene has gorgeous hair. I have hair envy.

My cat killed a bat in our house once, left it on the bathroom rug. Good times.

Gayeld said...

@Dragon. Oh no, my cat was bigger than it was. It just wanted the free bag of food. Now, the raccoon that used to eat the cat food from the back porch, that's a whole other story. It wasn't afraid of anything.

The Real Dragon said...

@ethorn LMAO imagine ur mom face and why does your brother own bat house.

The Real Dragon said...

@Laure and Blake. I'm about to check Austin out.

I wonder if the filmed that movie Bats there.

Sherry said...

Ethorne: We too have a bat house and I think they are marvelous creatures. The Opster and I stayed at a hacienda in the Yucatan a few years back. there was a garden still do with fruit trees. At about dust we were sitting in the gardens and noticed activity around us. Then there were more and more bats flying all around us hitting one piece of fruit. They were so close you could actually feel their wing beats when they went past us. It was absolutely lovely and amazing. we've had it several in our house at Blanc debris manor. We just open the door and they usually fly out. They're actually very docile creatures. The big woodpeckers Peck another house however are another story altogether!

Sherry said...

Sorry for the misspellings. Using voice recognition. It was a garden with fruit trees and the woodpeckers are pecking on Blan. Debris. And the bat show as we called it was at dusk. We went back every nite to see it. Musta been thousands there. Totally awesome!!!

ethorne said...

@dragon-My mom was fuuureaking out! As far as my brother, there are bats everywhere & they keep the bugs away, so I guess that's why he did it.

Sherry said...

Sarah we loved the flying foxes in Oz. You can see them sleeping in the trees in the Royal Botanical Gardens during the day. They, too, are really friendly. Believe it or not people. Gah I LURVE animals and bugs. A good day when you see nature.

sleep_deprived said...

Those bug eyes and rounded forehead are not attractive

Pip said...

I believe bats are fairly harmless. I think their little faces are pretty cute!

Kelly said...

Fuzzy boots and no socks equals stinky feet!

Gayeld said...

My little sister was determined to catch one of the bats that lived in the palm trees at the end of driveway. She used to go out there in the evening with a pile of rocks and keep tossing the next one down lower and lower, trying to coax the bats down to where she could catch one.

I think she was jealous years later when someone caught one in a building a worked in. She shouldn't be, that person had to get rabies shots, just in case. No thanks, been there, done that, allergic.

Lucas said...

@ethorne - ha!

@Lotta - okay, but if it is above freezing keep that shit in the closet. And wearing those without socks would get them gross in a hurry. Eww.

The Real Dragon said...

@curly OMG ur cat sounds like a Boss.

Leah said...

Could Normal Dave be a Hokie? Only a Hokie, or the family of a Hokie would wear a VT shirt.

a non a miss said...

@dragon- I live in Western PA and its bat country out here. I have bats in my attic and they used to nest in the grocery store I worked at. You can't kill them, they are endangered. There's also some caves near by and they're filled with bats!

Jessie said...

Uggs are slippers. You're supposed to wear them in the house and may only travel further than the mail box if you are picking up some quick groceries, rushing to a friend's aide or the hospital.

They are not made to get wet so you shouldn't wear them in rain or snow. And if it's sunny your feet will sweat.

Uggs are indoor shoes.

Sincerely,
Australia

Aaaaand now I know why people always say I look like Ashley Greene- minus the man jaw. Question, though- why does she also have my vacant sleepy mommy face going on. Seriously, she totally has the "I just got out of Walmart and I remembered everything but the milk" look going on.

@Lotta, hope its a good weekend :0)

Elizabeth Moss isn't pretty to me, but, I like her in some shows. She seems very sweet.
I don't own one pair of boots but I do have about 30 pair of flip-flops. Brit is out of her gourd.
A bat came down our chimney once, in a house of 5 women, it was utter squealing, gibbering chaos until we got him swept out.

Alicia said...

I want to see bat caves!! I'm flying in to Austin next month to see a show and my BBFF lives there .. I'm going to insist he take me straight to the bat caves!

The Real Dragon said...

@reject i dont want to kill them. i want to meet them lol

This has been a great fucking read. Thanks CDANers! In fact, I think it's been a great fucking read for the last few weeks...something about less mean snark, more cameraderie, empathy with and love to our struggling gossip friends, the Count being the Count, great avi's, enlightening conversations about the wonders of bleach, beautiful babies (shout out to RQ and Robot), the hammaconda in all its glory...I could go on and on. Thanks for the ride. There's something about being able to get here, rush through the posts just so I can get to the comments. You all are the best. It's nice to know that even on the most crappy day, there is some respite at our little gossip home.

Sorry for the sap. Sopranos marathon today.

3culprits said...

Oh, and where is Jason Blue Eyes? Miss him.

Elizabeth Co$ Moss, Where's Shelly?

AKM said...

I LOVE your post, 3culprits, and I agree! It's been such a warm and fuzzy place around here lately.

Oh, and Jason B.E.'s been around, I believe, FWIW. :-)

Bats scare the bejeezus out of me. Are they rodents?! Are they birds?! And what's with their creepy teeth?! Just...no thanks.

(For the record, I DO know that they are in fact mammals. THAT'S why the fact that they have wings is so effing creepy! *shudder*)

Anna Nonymous said...

@ Sherry I love your bat and nature stories! they're like the chihuahuas of the sky! Seriously though they really do resemble my part chihuahua dog.

and @ 3 Culprits, I think that's why we all keep coming back here. It's our little CDAN family! So refreshing to have somewhere to go in the storm of day to day drivel/pettiness/unconsciousness where you can interact with kind, sane, intelligent, caring folk.

And yes @ Agent It: How lame is it that Elizabeth Moss is Church of Scientology? It's such a bummer (can I still use that word?) when you find out an actor you like is a Scientologist. See Jason Lee, Ribisi, Juliette Lewis? Love her! Didn't she leave it though? Fingers crossed she did. Something about it must speak to people, but their dark side ( looking at you David Miscavige) is so crazy and creepy, I just can't be a fan of or support anyone that would be a part of anything so sociopathic.

I just love Daniel Day Lewis. Always have. Always will.
