Brandy Plays To Empty Stadium - Walks Off Stage After Two Songs

So, what do you do if you are late to a concert where people have been waiting and waiting after listening to other bands that showed up on time? If you are Brandy you play to approximately 40 people in a 90,000 seat stadium for two songs and then walk off stage and leave. Brandy was scheduled to play in South Africa at a Nelson Mandela tribute concert. The place had been sold out and was rocking all day and Brandy was supposed to be the final act to perform. The thing is, she was so late to the stage, that people just gave up and left. By the time Brandy could be bothered to start playing, everyone had left. You do have to give her credit for going full lights and show for the two songs she stayed before packing it in.

VIPblonde said...: Seriously Enty? Not even a little true. Here's the original article in The Mail. She was the surprise guest at the end of the day. Key word being surprise. No one knew she was going to perform, so they left.

auntliddy said...: The real story: brandy was unannounced final act, as a surprise. It was all day concert, as far as people knew concert was over. They did not know she was going to perform, so, thinking concert over, people left. Only slow moving 40 got to hear her two songs. Bad publicity and poor planning screwed her over, nothing else. And i may have left t after 2 songs too. And I dont even know her or have heard her sing!! Lol; 8:07 AM

Krissie said...: Brandy's act was a big surprise? WTF? Surprises are supposed to be something that people are excited to find out about. Brandy hasn't been popular in years. If someone told me, "Surprise! Brandy's going to perform!" I would say, "So?" as I imagine most people would.
