Lead Singer Of The Calling Kidnapped And Beat Up Before Being Released

Want to know what happens when you don't pay your gambling debts or your drug dealer? You get the crap beat out of you and told you better come up with the money. They don't want you dead because then you can't pay. Now, I'm not saying that is what happened to the lead singer of The Calling over the weekend, but Alex Band was kidnapped off the streets of Lapeer, Michigan while walking in the middle of the night. Hmm, why would a singer of a band be walking the streets in the middle of the night by himself and without telling the rest of his band? A van stopped next to him, grabbed Alex and then dropped him back off after he was beaten. Does this sound like it was for kicks? Nope. There was a purpose and maybe we will find out and maybe Alex will pay his bills.
