Would Gossip Girl be considered long running? Just curious because I never watched it so not even sure how long it was on.
Hope they try and get some help. I had an old friend who visited us on his way to The Bridge Concert. He told us the horrible story of losing his g/f to alcohol and heroin. He was convinced those are the hardest to quit. Most don't succeed.

Though I wouldn't be surprised to hear Rhys Meyer was using, the description doesn't fit. Dracula isn't almost network and isn't long-running. His only long-running show was the Tudors and that was HBO.
