This Scandal actor who has been in some other hit shows is arguing with producers because his wife wants to do a reality show. The producers really don't want it. I would say if his wife put her foot down, he would leave the show.

Oh wow in googling the cast I had no idea that the actor who plays Cyrus was married to Laurie Metcalf.
Wife Jane Musky, production designer. I'd imagine there's a market for Goldwyn family reality.

I think the key is other hit shows(Foley was on Scrubs for a few years/Greys Antatomy for a year and Felicity for its entire run). Goldwyn was only on L&O for a year, I think-other than that movie..(also I think Scotss wife was an actress/Model" before their kids..probably trying to get some fame a la Tori/Dean(ugh). Mrs Goldwyn would (and has always shied from camera's-especially now id think with the real "Scandal" lol
Tony Goldwyn has only every guested on TV shows. Scandal is his first regular TV gig and that is only because of the leading lady. Scott Foley's wife is a sometimes actress and ball buster. This is all Foley and after the way they left the finale, Jake has been rendered useless. I can see him leaving. Besides Tony Goldwyn barely remembers he has a wife 99% of the time, I don't see that Musky putting her foot down would do much. If she wanted to be famous wouldn't she be on his arm at every award show?

Can't be Goldwyn because his wife lives in CT. He lives in LA so why would producers care? She has her own life in CT.
Foley, however, lives with his wife and you can tell by her social media posts that she craves fame.
He was also on The Unit and True Blood. This is Scott Foley for sure!

@MontanaMarriott, IKR?? supposedly Joshua & Laurie are still very close & supportive of one another..they came up the ranks with each other. For example,they still go to each other's Play openings etc. Joshua said.
LOL at all the basics who think this is about Tony Goldwyn. If his wife craved fame she'd probably actually show up with her husband ("Husband") to premieres and events but she never does.

I'm pretty sure his character was killed off on Scandal in 1 of the last few episodes of the season that just ended.
Fooley. He serves no purpose in this series, that he leave. Reality TV fits very well to his wife.

Definitely not Goldwyn because his family/extended family is very low-key, doesn't like publicity, and does not subscribe to Hollywood attention-seeking behavior at all. His wife never attends public events with her spouse, lives in Connecticut, and is very un-Hollywood; she has the mature stature of a 60-something grandma who putters in the garden. Blind is about Scott Foley. His wife is an actress/model; comes off abrasive and attention-seeking on twitter. Probably busts Foley's balls on the regular.
