A few days after she returned to work, this A-/B+ list mostly television actress on a long running still hit show received some flowers and a gift. Not just any flowers or any gift, it was $1000 bouquet and a very expensive piece of jewelry. It was from this A-/B+ list mostly movie actress. Our television actress put the flowers through a paper shredder and gave the jewelry to her assistant and claimed she bought it just for the assistant.

From what i read Megan was a big hit on the show, I guess Zooey felt threatened by her and wanted to erase her from the show. I do think Megan sent it with the best of intentions.
What a sick little psychopath. I know Zooey through a few former friends she's too big to talk to anymore. People who had her back from the start and supported her as she made a name for herself. The second she did she became the punk she really is and got them thrown out of an event she invited them to. I think she did it to publicly embarrass them and make sure they stayed out of her life forever. She will get hers one day.
Got to give props to Meagan for trying.
Megan was actually nice to people on the show. Zoey isn't. I don't think I would spend that much after someone coming back from maternity leave, but a very nice gesture.
Zoe's bitter because she had to compete with Meg for roles, which is why she went & did quirky indies, then tv. She doesn't want to lose her show also.
This says a lot about what these women are really like. What Megan did was a very classy, generous gesture. How is was received was beyond petty & tacky. I never bought Zoey's overly contrived & saccharine act anyway.
Why don't we ever hear things about Steven Spielberg's kids? Sasha Spielberg is Zooey's bff.

...made a name for herself? her and her sister of daughters of two important movie people. Like, legitly important. she never had to make a name, she already had connections, she just needed to suck up and put in time.
its pretty wellknown she didnt like her guy and she was SUPER bummed when she became pregnant. she probably is still mad she f**ked up her life.
also she must be reeling meghan got cast again for next season. boohoo, mommy! meghan has never been the bitch people make her out to be. typical prettygirl is meangirl cliche. and you know where that cliche gets perpetuated? from bitter girls like zooey.

I preferred the show with Megan, while Zoey was away. Now that Megan is gone, and Zoey is back, I've removed the New GIrl One Pass from my Tivo
It wasn't that long ago there were a lot of blinds about her being hated by cast and crew because of her cutesy schtick. Wasn't there one about her stopping during filming and make everone sing a stupid song and other annoying crap like that?
Agree - that show is so much better without her character. She is annoying and the least interesting.
The show was much better without Zooey, and fantastic with Megan. The fans loved Megan's character.
I liked Megan better on the show as well. Zooey is getting too old for the cooky, cute airhead. She's got some major issues if she did this. She must feel threatened. Jealous much? Not a good look!
I've also heard Zooey is a major control freak. Ewwww!

That doe eyed Zooey is too old for that cutsie hipster girl thing - it's old, tired and unbelievable. I don't see her career going very far, she's a 'type', I really can't imagine her playing anything else than version of herself. So yeah, she better be a bitch to the nicer, prettier and shockingly more versatile actress.
