ACM Awards
Although everything was really frosty between this former singing couple, one thing they both agreed on was that they wanted nothing to do with this B+ list singer who was there. For some reason the B+ lister tried to speak to them both but was shot down and told to keep away.

Shame, i love kasey, saw her in concert in london about a month ago, she was brilliant.

Not sure why they both hate Kacey, but I do know that she and Miranda both hail from small towns in Texas that are about 30 miles apart--Mineola and Lindale.
She is said to be one of Blake's affairs during the marriage. So both want to avoid her.
I think Flake, errr, Blake made his bed and most likely had to hear about it & live it down for years. Here's what I have gathered.... Blake met Miranda in '06 while he was married to someone else. Then in '07 worked his slimy magic on Kacey when she was on Nashville Star (promising her a career if she'd sleep with him). I'm sure that didn't sit well with Miranda and rumor has it that ML basically blackmailed/bullied some songs out of Kacey as "payback". I don't think Blake wants them to like each other - compare stories, anyone - and KM is a constant reminder to him of what he did.
But why should he care? He's slept with probably a thousand women since then, *shudder* both before and after his marriage.
