This female director is very talented. One of my favorite directors and favorite people. She is very loyal so when starting her new project picked out all her regulars to act. Because of her recent bombs though, the studio also made her choose this seems like foreign born Academy Award winner/nominee. The pair can’t stand each other and even though it is the director’s project, the Academy Award winner/nominee is trying to get the director and the actresses she brought with her, fired.

Normally I'd say Nicole was being a b***h but considering that Sofia's movies have been bombing it may be a valid point to question the capabilities of the team Sofia was bringing with her.
Must be The Beguiled, with Dunst & the little Fanning that Kidman is trying to get fired.

Speaking of movie bombs, Nicole's latest celluloid disasters stink to high heaven. Try sitting through Before I Go To Sleep. Believe me, it will put you to sleep--fast. The beyond corny ending will send you to the loo to barf up the popcorn you stuffed down watching it.
Just because you win an Oscar, doesn't mean you are now and forever great at everything you do.
It just means you won an Oscar for one performance in that year.
since when did Nicole become a talent for directing and casting actors and deciding who stays and who goes? give me a break, she isn't all that great lately.

No matter how stupid that choice may be. Kidman is toxic to box office.
Why would Kidman. . .who whatever her recent history probably doesn't have trouble finding work. . sign up to do a film with a director she hates?
Nicole has also had bomb after bomb. I have no idea why anyone continues to use her when she costs a fortune, does not sell tickets and has botoxed her face to the point where she now looks like a Kabuki mask of herself.
I agree with Kidman recent bombs but I think she is simply in the desperate stage of her career. Not to be too sexist but she is forty nine next month. That doesn't change her acting abilities but it does limit her in rom-com and romantic leading lady roles. I doubt she is getting the best scripts anymore and the money is probably getting lower as well. I think she is just grabbing almost anything in the hopes that something will be a hit and prevent her career falling over the abyss. She would probably be best to step back from mainstream but B movies and seek character leads in smaller movies at this stage. Actresses that keep their acting credibility seem to survive the middle age doldrums better than those who pretend they are still young.
Kidman has more bombs out there than almost anyone. Why would anyone bring her in to help a movie. She will help it right down the crapper.
Sofia has a great eye like her mother, I think her real skill is in cinematography not directing.
