I was thinking the same until I reread the blind "according to her own words".
That makes me think it's either Taraji Henson (one movie filming, nothing in the pipeline) or Anna Kendrick (one movie about to film and nothing in the pipeline), both of whom have auto-biographies out. Haven't read either but the clickbait on Kendrick seems to indicate a lot of talk about sex (one reviewer described it as "typical millenial TMI"), drinking, and drug use (pot which is no biggie but studios are weird). Henson has had a lot of rough events (death of her son's father, etc) so who knows what else may be in there once she openned up.
This could be Goop because as @Tricia13 said 33 Dias is plagued with issues and has been in "pre production" for about 4 years. It will not help her career which seems stale. I'm could be Anne H. too though because her persona always seemed off from who she really is?
I'm on board with the Kendrick guess. She also posed for Playboy recently, trying to be all sexed up. Granted, this is the neutered version of Playboy and not the naked days of old but still. I'm curious if Kendrick mentions the Fappening pics of her (with mounds of cocaine) in her book.

The blind says the person is trying to convince the public she is a certain person, and Kendrick isn't really doing that. Despite her openness in her book, she's been saying stuff like that for years. She's tweeted about being stoned, getting drunk, and made sex jokes about masturbating in movie theatres. Her book isn't a revelation for anyone who follows her on social media.
That all being said, she does come across as extremely unlikable in her book. Her teeny fans will lap it up no doubt, but Anna Kendrick is not a good person, and certainly not the sweet, lovable girl next door that so many guys seem to think she is. I hear her name with "marriage material" get thrown around a lot, and damn, I would not marry her. She might be funny and talented, but she does not have a good personality. So maybe that's what the blind is trying to get at. If it is even her.

@poe,Anna Kendrick made her career being likeable, and not everyone follows her on Twitter. Putting things in your book is a game changer, ask Lena Dunham, I'm sure people couldn't imagine the stuff she put in it. Anna bad mouths people and films according to some excerpts, so maybe she did herself in.

Yep, but there's work and there's work. Financially between the money she's made, the money the book will do (didn't she get a mill up front?) and the up front and back end money for PP3 she's set.
But if the studios don't think she fits the image they want any longer she'll be doing those straight to DVD, Netflix, and OnDemand roles for a while. It's such a weird double standard but in a way I can understand it given how my family interacts. If the studio has plausible deniability then who cares if you do X, smoke Y, doink Z many dudes in an uncomfortable place. If it's out in the open then you have a problem
Look at Jared Leto...he has a horrible rep on this site and others for how he treats women. But it wasn't really out in the open. Then his method acting stories get out and he has nothing lined up after the two films that lined up before the stories hit.

Are you a man or a woman? Every woman I know that's read Anna's book would say the opposite of what you're saying. I have the audio book, but I haven't been able to listen. I've heard a lot of what's in it from friends & online, but reviews I see & tweets are mostly positive about the book & Anna. I've read many reviews & comments saying the book made people like her more & other people that didn't really know about her or like her said they love her now.
The reason I ask if you're a man or a woman is that almost all of the positive things I read about Anna & the book come from women or gay men. They make up the majority of her fan base, so if studios are worried about her losing some of her fans, I don't see that happening. If the majority of her fans are women & gay men & they like the book she's going to be fine fan wise. There's people that write books & put in far more awful details about themselves & continue working to this day. Hell, even after what Mel Gibson has said & done there's talk about his movie being up for an Oscar & Mel getting an Oscar nom for directing. I'm sure she will be fine.
Everyone is talking about how Anna doesn't have anything after Pitch Perfect 3, but she talked about that in an interview recently. She said she's had all this press to do & then she has PP3 to work on. Anna said after that she would start looking at scripts to see what she wants to do after that & she's said in other interviews that she might take a little break after PP3 films. I highly doubt this blind is accurate considering Anna's been talking about taking a break after PP3 for months before her book came out. She made it pretty clear in interviews that she doesn't know what she wants to do after PP3, so I don't think her doing Playboy is part of some image change & I don't think her not having a movie to do after PP3 has anything to do with what Enty is claiming.
I still can't believe that's the song he thinks is going to win him an Oscar. Parents I know that saw Trolls loved it & more importantly their kids loved it. It's marketed for kids, so if they're getting their parents to see the movie multiple times & buying the soundtrack that's all that matters to the studio, but the interesting this is all the parents I know are talking about the "Get Back Up Again" song that Anna sings in the movie. That's the 1 their kids seem to love the most. I think Trolls could have got an award nomination for that song & Justin's might get award nominations for the lesser award shows, but an Oscar? Surprised doesn't cover how I would feel if he got an Oscar nomination for Can't Stop the Feeling.
That's good to hear. I know "S" talked about the Fappening pics, but the "piles of coke" don't exists. It's a bunch of "photo experts" on Reddit that said it was coke. The pictures are crystal clear, but in 1 part of an otherwise crystal clear picture is a white splotch that's blurry looking. A mirror, a glass top counter, a flash from the camera, & everyone thinks the 1 single blurry spot is a pile of cocaine & not the result of the flash of the camera causing that blurry white spot because of the mirror & glass counter top.
I think Anna talked about it in a magazine interview after the Fappening & pointing out how insane it was that people thought she was doing coke based on those pics.
Now that I went down & read the rest of the comments on this blind I think Derek is right that this is about Gweneth Paltrow. She's quitting acting to focus on her lifestyle brand. Or is it that she can't get work & she's trying to save face by claiming she's not working because she's focusing on her lifestyle brand?
This is a tough blind since the clickbaits seem to be zeroing in on Kendrick's drug experimentation and sex stories so she could fit.
But Derek and the AnneH guessers could be on to something since my local radio stations have all mentioned her multiple times over the past two days as being a problem on the set of Oceans 8. Causing problems with a group of leading ladies like that cast cannot possibly be good for one's career.
I've also heard about Rhianna causing problems & making weird demands. Enty might have had a blind about that too. From what I hear about the drug part of Anna's book she talks about smoking pot occasionally over the years, but hasn't smoked it in over 2 years because she had a bad experience a couple years ago. I have not heard about her talking about other drugs & since California made weed legal & it's basically been legal with a prescription (which is insanely easy to get,) I do not see anyone in Hollywood deciding not to hire Anna because she smoked weed.
Many actors & actresses admit to it. There were pics of Jennifer Lawrence smoking weed & some of Anna's pics in the Fappening she was smoking weed, but she still got acting parts after that. If a picture of Anna smoking a joint is not enough to keep her from getting parts over the 2 years since The Fappening, why would an admission in her book be the reason for her not getting parts?
So I actually chatted with a buddy of mine in the industry who explained it a bit: it may not stop roles but it could stop types of roles.
From how he explained it, every studio knows actors tend to be messed in the head...some drugs, some body image issues, some diva behavior, some just nuts. So part of every casting decision is "risk to reward" or "how much will putting up with X type of crazy negatively impact the production in exchange for what we are getting in return".
So, her doing pot and X (one of the clickbaits mentioned it) or drinking a lot (apparently there are lots of booze mentions as well) isn't a big deal for a "Mike and Dave's". Hell, they are probably pluses to that type of movie. But to "Trolls" or "Paranorman" they are big detractions..."Hey mom, I loved Trolls can I get Anna's book?" And then the kid reads about their hero's sex life, drug use, and crazy and parents flip their shit.
I think, looking at the sorts of stuff being mentioned and what you folks have said in thread about the Fappening pics, she'll have no problem with a PP style movie, or the indy crapfests she does, and probably not budgeted dramatic roles. But a kids movie or a superhero flick aimed at younger groups? Probably off the table. A tent pole or Oscar bait? Well then it becomes "Anna's hobbies and self proclaimed crazy vs Her rep as always professional vs How much will she add". That equation may not balance out the way she'd want.
So I definitely have the impression that while this blind may be Anne H, Kendrick fits it too and only time will tell if she miscalculated
Very interesting! My only thing is Seth Rogen has done plenty of different films, including a voice in the Kung Fu Panda movies (which are for kids,) & everyone knows about how he's constantly high & smokes weed. I haven't heard about her talking about taking X, but there's a lot of actors that have talked about doing drugs far worse than weed & they still get those types of roles. Plus she's talked about drinking all the time. There's nothing new that I've heard from her book about drinking or smoking pot that everyone didn't already know. She got cast in Trolls, they have had her do press for the movie even though there are pics of her smoking a joint widely available to everyone.
Had she admitted to doing meth or being a coke addict I would believe her career could be hurt. But weed and drinking? She hasn't had any problems, any public incidents where she's been arrested, had to go to rehab, or been fired from a movie because of her behavior. Anne H someone said does have more movies for next year. It does not appear to be her, but Gweneth Paltrow sounds like a better guess because she announced she's retiring from acting to focus on her life style brand Goop.
In short, I do not see any execs in Hollywood not hiring Anna for things that she's talked about before. Especially when there's been photographic evidence of her smoking a joint. Her talk of drinking & the picture didn't stop her from getting cast in Trolls, so why would it stop her now?
